(headcanons about the ericson kids going on a road tripppp)

- everyone was planning to do a road trip one day

- at lunch they would always discuss where they were going, what they would do, etc

- after the school year was over, they all got together and planned out their entire road trip

- the road trip would last two weeks, and their last destination would be the grand canyon

- they were bringing two cars since not everyone can fit in marlon's shitty four person car

- louis had planned to invite minnie and sophie since they're still considered their friends

- sophie had a baseball tournament those two weeks, so it was just minnie joining them

- clem wasn't happy

- and to make matters worse, they were gonna be sitting in the same car

- once they all started to drive and start their road trip, clem and minnie were already arguing

- clem had brought her guitar so that she could play some tunes for everyone

- minnie made fun of her for it

- clem nearly shoved her out the window

- after about three hours of driving, they were still arguing

- it got so bad they had to pull over and separate clem and minnie

- marlon drives the car clem is in and keeps making jokes about how clem should be in a booster seat since she's short and looks like a kid still

- they got pulled over by a cop because they thought clem was actually a child that wasn't in a booster seat

- clem was pissed the entire ride after that

- they eventually reached their first destination, a campsite in ohio (shoutout to people who live in ohio)

- louis insisted clem played everyone a campfire song

- so she did

- she played, and everyone listened

- expect for minnie, she didn't like camping so she stayed in the car

- violet kept cuddling clem, which made it hard for clem to play but she didn't mind

- after clem finished her fifth song, she saw everyone had fallen asleep

- she sighed deeply

- looks like they're getting eaten tonight by the bears
