She had been captured. Samantha was blindfolded. Fear reverberated throughout her bones yet she tried her best to retain a brave front. This was easier said than done, but she had to. Samantha was sure that Christopher was already hot on the trail of the men that took her and tracing her to where she was now, wherever that was that is.

As she sat blindfolded, she began to listen intently, utilizing survival mode to its max. Sam could hear people's muffled voices. It sounded as if they were behind a wall or thick door. So she assumed she was in a room, and it must have been a big one, but she couldn't really tell that well. Beneath her, she felt something soft. A bed, with decent quality bedding from what she could tell, which was odd to her. Why put a captive in a nice bed on nice bedding? Just seemed off.

Not even fifteen minutes go by and the smell of food hit Samantha's nose, and someone could be heard coming closer to the room she was in. Then they stopped. The lock on the door clicked and the door opened. She couldn't see who it was, Sam remained as calm as she possibly could, however. The person drew closer, then set something down, the blindfold Samantha was wearing came off and so did the handcuffs that had been on her wrists. It was a large man. Once her eyes adjusted and she could see properly she realized she knew the person. Very closely in fact. It was Caleb. What was he doing here? Why was he bringing her a tray of food? The expression on his face suggested that he did not want to be here, nor did he want to be doing whatever it was he was doing here, though his expression suggested that he had no choice.

"Caleb? Wha- What are you doing here?" Samantha asked warily. Caleb sighed, averting his gaze to the tray of food before then handing it gently to her. "Doing what I should have never done." He answered the vagueness of his sentence pondered more questions. "But what though? Why the fuck are you involved with the assholes that kidnapped me and shot my dogs? Regardless of whether you explain it to me, you will have to deal with Christopher later anyways. I don't know why, but I can see you feel uneasy and don't want to be here doing whatever it is you are doing, but your brother won't see that Caleb. So tell me." Samantha pressed Caleb with concern for not just herself but for him. She knows how Chris is.

Sam took the food, set it down on her lap, and invited Caleb to sit next to her, to which he obliged. She needed answers. "Chris told me why this is happening. But why are you in this mess?" Caleb sighed heavily. It was obvious he knew he hated himself at this moment. "I got involved because I knew Colevack was going to try something." Caleb began, speaking as quietly as he could. "I am the mole that was giving info. Like when Chris was away, leaving you on your own. I thought this would just be a kidnap for ransom but it blew up. I should've told Christopher when I found out, but Colevack acted before I could. Fuck I'm so stupid!" Caleb swiftly stood. "Can't you do something?" - "No. Phone calls are monitored and I can leave but if they find out that I ran to my brother to warn him then.." He paused briefly, taking a breath. "Colevack will hurt you." Samantha's eyes got big like a deer in headlights. "Will he..kill me?" Caleb shook his head. "No, but you'll wish you were dead."

Christopher had sent William to get some men. He would need way more manpower if he planned to storm Colevack's place to get his woman back. God so help whoever lays a hand on her while she's there. Chris couldn't fathom the girl he loved hurt. She was strong for her small frame, but even he knew a woman's fragile body could never stand up to what Colevack could and would do to her. He would break her, mentally and physically. Chris could not heave that. He wanted her back now, though he knew better than to go without arms. William would be calling soon.

*buzz, buzz* Speak of the devil.

Christopher answered the phone: "Status?"

William: "Everyone I could gather is prepped and ready. Loading the vans now."
