I fought Parker the whole way back to the basement. I was so mad. I felt like my whole body was going to burn up and turn into ash.

I glared at Parker as he tied me up. Then I looked at Sam.

"Have you killed someone, Sam?" I asked.

She slowly nodded, avoiding my gaze. I shuddered and looked forward. If we had to do that again, would she kill me?

"It was a girl."

I tilted my head in confusion at Sam's words. Of course it was a girl, I already knew that.

"She was only 12. Rose and I are best friends. He kidnapped us together. I couldn't kill her. Honey and Sage weren't here. When I had to kill, I chose her."

Tears started to spill out of her eyes. She hung her head and shook.

"You have to understand, I-" I cut her off.

"She was a girl! She was probably still daydreaming about boys and celebrities!"

San cried in silence after that. I knew that these girls would kill me if they had too. They were friends. I was new, practically a stranger.

Was I any better? I just killed an innocent girl. She wanted to escape as much as any of us.

My hands were permanently stained with blood. The blood of a broken girl. I couldn't get the image of it out of my head. The way the knife slid into her skin like soft butter. The way her eyes looked so scared, so dead.

I broke down crying. I would never make it out of here. I would never see the sunlight again. Never feel the wind on my face.

The speaker crackled and Parker's voice filled the room.

"I have a little surprise."

Parker's voice was replaced by crying.

"I think you'll guys enjoy it."
