Son of genius billionaire Howard Stark, Tony was kidnapped in Afghanistan for his ' brilliance and knowledge of weapons '. Though, this brilliance seemingly faded. There, after being waterboarded for months, the male's brain took quite some damage from constant lack of oxygen. Not only that, but from an accidental explosion inside his cell, shrapnel forced its way into his body. A reactor attached to a battery was built to keep it away.
During his time in a horrid cave, Tony made up a hero persona inside his head to cope with the agonizing torture of the terrorist group. This hero was named ' IRON MAN ', which he dreamt of turning into, so he could escape.
That never happened. Eventually, he was saved by the military, that included his best friend Rhodey.
After all those years of being held captive and being tortured, Tony never remained the same.Heart strokes frequently crippled his life. The story of Iron Man sent his brain upside down. Unfortunately, when back home, the public denounced himinsane for the story of his weaponized hero persona, so he was sent to SHIELD ASYLUM.
Together with his stapler named JARVIS, he tries to convince people that this suit in his mind, can become reality.
