Unicorn's POV
Today's the day. Today I'm going to ask Goldy to be my date to the dance! Although Ryan's been busy, I made the perfect plan...with the help of Sabre... I know, I know. It's crazy that I asked the person who used to be my greatest enemy to help ask Goldy to the dance, but he offered to help and Ryan wasn't around.
After hours of planning, we decided that I would take Goldy to the carnival. Although she's not the exact same person that she was in daycare, she's still as childish as ever, making this perfect. Now to just put this into action.

Goldy's POV
Unicorn Mann asked me to meet him at the fountain in front of the school once the final bell rang. I'm not sure why, but just the mention of him has my heart racing. I don't know why, since I'm not used to this kind of feeling. Maybe I'm just nervous about what he wants? Yeah, that has to be it.
I made it to the fountain, but I didn't see Unicorn. I looked around to see if he was close by, but he was no where in sight. I sighed and sat down on the edge of the fountain and waited for the boy in the three piece suit to arrive.
A few minutes later, I felt a gust of wind coming from behind me. I turned to it, and was met by the glowing white eyes of my best friend. He was holding yellow and purple roses in a bouquet, which he then handed to me. I laughed and accepted them, silently questioning why he got them.

"Sorry I'm late. I needed a little more time to prepare for today," Unicorn informed me. I give him a confused look. He just laughed and offered me his hand. I took it, and suddenly I feel my feet lift off the ground. I glance down and we're floating. Before I could question it, a strong, purple wind surrounds us. When it disappears, I saw that we were no longer on the school grounds.
We were at the carnival entrance. I looked around and noticed that no one was here except the workers.
"I rented the place out. I just wanted it to be you and me," Unicorn told me, noticing my confused stare. I nodded slowly, wondering what he meant by that.
Moments turned into hours as we explore the carnival grounds. We played the mini games, where Unicorn got me a corgi stuffed animal, got food, and were now going on the Ferris wheel. I stared in awe at the sight as we were lifted up. You could see the whole park from up here!
I turned to Unicorn, who was watching me with soft eyes and a small smile. His cheeks were tinted pink, but I barely noticed since the sun was setting.
"Goldy?" He asked.
"Yeah?" I responded. He sighed happily and took my hand. I blushed, but hoped it was dark enough so he wouldn't notice.
"Will you be my date to the dance?" The Ferris wheel stopped. We were at the very top, but the world seemed to fade away in the moment. He's asking me to be his date? He likes me?!
My mouth hung open slightly, still processing his question. He gave my hand a gentle squeeze, as if nonverbally asking if I was okay.
A smile formed on my face a few seconds later. I leaned in and kissed his cheek before whispering a small "I'd love to."
