Tina's POV
The dance is tonight! Ryan and I have went shopping for our outfits yesterday, and I really like what we picked. I got a sleeveless dress with a white top and a blue skirt that fades to an emerald green. Ryan got a black suit with a blue-green faded tie and we got a blue corsage and boutonniere. Neither of us have seen Goldy or Unicorn recently, so we have no clue what they decided on for their outfits.
The student council has been working non stop to make tonight perfect, and I am really proud of the results. Since the theme is Happily Ever After, we stuck to fairytale designs. We put vines on the walls for a mystical garden vibe, and we strung fairy lights on the ceiling to light up the gym. We even added a mini tower in one of corners for a photo booth!
School had just ended, so Ryan and I went our separate ways to get ready. The dance starts at 6, so we had about three hours to prepare. Goldy and I are planning on meeting at my house so I can do her hair and makeup, and the boys will be coming to pick us up at 5:45.

Goldy's POV
Tina and I had started getting ready, but we weren't in too much of a hurry since we still had about two and a half hours left. We were already in our dresses, and Tina was about to start on my hair. As she curled it, I glanced down at my dress. Unicorn and I decided on purple as our couples theme, so my dress was a pale purple. The front of it was a little above my knees but the back was down to my ankles. It may not have been my style, but it suited me.
Tina finished my hair about fifteen minutes later. She had it all bobby-pinned on the left side of my head and used some hairspray for extra support. It looked really pretty since she had also curled it beforehand.
It was now 5:43, so the boys should be here soon. Tina had finished her hair and both of our makeup about twenty minutes ago, so we were just talking and waiting. Tina's hair was pulled back into a half ponytail and had been curled to make it poofier. As for our makeup, she put a light blush and mascara on both of us, along with a faint blue color of eyeshadow on herself.
As we were talking, the doorbell rung. Tina's dad, Leo, answered the door and welcomed Ryan and Unicorn inside. They looked at us, and their eyes widened.
"Wow," Unicorn whispered.
I smiled shyly and glanced down. I'm not used to this sort of thing.
"Tina, you look beautiful," Ryan said with a small smile and flushed cheeks.
"And Goldy, you look stunning," Unicorn commented.
I looked up at him and our eyes met. Wait...
"You're not wearing your mask." My eyes widened in disbelief.
"It didn't feel right wearing it tonight."
We spent the next few minutes putting on the corsages and boutonnières, and then Leo started taking pictures.
Once that was done, we headed to the car. Ryan sat in the driver seat, so Tina took the passenger's, leaving Unicorn and I in the back. As soon as we were all settled, we were off to the school.

Hey look, I updated. This chapter took way too long to write. And I know I said no updates this month, but I wanted to finish this chapter and I was bored, so...
But I hope you enjoyed. The next chapter will be at the dance.
Also, Unicorn is wearing a black suit with a purple tie. I forgot to mention that when writing
