Camila stood with her bottom lip between her teeth, a nervous habit of hers. Her eyes looking anywhere but at the woman in front of her. "I'm talking to you Camila. What are you still doing here?" Y/N asks calmly.
"I-I" Camila stops talking and lets out an annoyed groaned. "I wouldn't suggest being around someone that's only wants one thing." Y/N gave Camila a fake smile. Camila felt her face heat up as she realized why Y/N was mad at her earlier and now.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said those things when I got to know about the real you. I didn't know what to say and I used that. I shouldn't have and it was really wrong of me to do. I apologize." Camila finally spoke.
"Why would you sit there and lie to someone when you know the truth? It's fucked up." Y/N mumbled as she started changing into comfortable clothes. "I know and I am so sorry. Can I make it up to you please?" Camila asked as she looked anywhere but at me.
"You shouldn't have to make it up to me. It shouldn't have been said in the first place." Y/N said as she took a seat on the chair. Camila bit her lip as she looked at Y/N, her eyes scanning the girls outfit.
"I know and I'm so sorry. Please, just let me make it up to you." Camila begged this time. "I don't want anything from you. I just want to relax and have peace and quiet." Y/N sighed out. "I could help you..?" Camila spoke up cautiously.
"I am not going to use you because you made a mistake. I'm not that kind of person." Y/N stood up and looked Camila in her eyes. "I know but it's the least I could do." She tried reasoning. "Your body is not something you should use for an apology. Your words are enough." Y/N said as she caressed Camila's cheek.
Camila licked her lips and nodded her head. "I'm sorry" She whispered. "Don't apologize. I just want you to know that I can't stay mad at you." Y/N spoke. Camila smiles as she looked up into Y/N's eyes.
"You're so beautiful" Y/N complimented. Camila let out a involuntary giggle as her cheeks heated up. "Stop" Camila whined. Y/N chuckled before pulling her hands back. "Just speaking the truth. Now, how did you convince Normani to let you stay?" Y/N questioned as she pulled Camila into her side as they sat down.
"I told her that you had asked me to sing with you for the next couple shows...?" Y/N laughed at Camila's nervous smile. "Do you even know any of my songs?" The older girl questioned. "I know half. The other ones are about sex." Camila answered honestly.
"You're not wrong. You want to write a song with me?" Y/N sat up and looked at Camila with a big smile on her face. "Uhhhh... Yeah. That sounds like fun." Camila responded. Y/N let out a quick squeal and grabbed Camila's hand and dragged her towards her bus.
"I have the perfect song for us." Y/N giggled as she opened the bus door and turned and looked at Camila. "Do you smoke?" Y/N questioned as she pulled out a joint. "No. It's okay if you do though." Camila smiled softly at the girl. "Not if you're uncomfortable." Y/N said as she put it behind her ear and sat down.
Y/N turned to Camila and patted the spot next to her. "Why kind of song is okay with you?" Y/N asked as she opened her music book. Camila stared in awe at how many songs Y/N had written. "Hello... Camila!" Y/N waved her hand in front of the Cuban- Mexicans face.
Camila shook her head and looked at Y/N. "I'd say a mixture between sexual and sensual. Something people will dance to. It's a mixture between the both of us." Camila explained. Y/N bit her lip as she thought about it, quickly looking through her music book. "Body on Me?" Y/N asked as she pulled it out and handed it to Camila.
"This is so good. It's perfect." Camila smiles up at Y/N before reading over the lyrics. "It's a mixture of both of us and I feel like it could be a big hit." Y/N spoke softly. Camila turned her head and looked at Y/N, debating on if this was good for the band.
"I don't know... We could record it but I don't want to release it. I don't know how people would react with me doing another collab." Camila spoke honestly. "You talking about the song with Shawn?" Y/N asked as she leaned back, looking over the Latina's face.
"Yeah. People loved it but it caused some friction in the group." Camila looked away and let herself get lost in the group past. The girls yelling at her for not telling them or Roger telling her that the song would never be a hit. The label threatening to drop her from the group if she kept releasing songs without the girls.
"You talking about management?" Y/N questioned. "Management had a huge role in why I'm very apprehensive on doing solo work. I turned down a song with Chainsmokers and the song was number 1 for 12 weeks straight. That song would have blown our group higher into music industry. Higher than we already are. I turned it down because of Management. They had a lot of pressure put on me to turn it down and I did. For the group." Camila sighed out.
"Don't let them control you. If they can do it once, they'll do it again. You need to stand up and do what you think is right, Camila. You are so fucking amazing and they're trying to hide what you really are. They want to over sexualize you and the girls because sex sells in this business." Y/N pauses for a second. "
"Sex over sensual and raw emotion is always going to win. Sex is... Not as fun as everyone thinks it is. You keep pushing for the shit you want and you'll find success with hard work, dedication, and motivation. Surround yourself with people you trust and you'll find your footing in this industry." Y/N finishes with a smile.
Camila stared at the song as she let Y/N's words sink in. She was right. She needed to stand up for herself and find who she truly was...
