Chapter Two

"Who are you?" Klaus grits his teeth. Ren chuckles looking down and then at Klaus "Your son. Klauren Nik Mikaelson" "what u mean?" Elijah step front. "What is this nonsense?" Klaus was losing his temper. "Yes. Im his son . Caroline Forbes is my mom" Ren says but the two gentlemen silent both lost in thought. Klaus process the news he just heard. Caroline, his love. He remembers their time together in the woods before he left to New Orleans. Does she got pregnant by me? Why she didn't tell? He knows because of his wolf gene he can procreate. Is this the reason she left Mystic Falls? Why she didn't come to him.? Again questions fill his mind. "How we believe u saying is true? Klaus did u and Caroline" Elijah look at his brother who nods his head. "U know im your father?" "Of course i do. Mom have told us everything about u and your family. U know we have this portrait of you hanging in middle of our living room." He smiles "Come. We will take more at home. Have you meet Lizzie? She will be happy to see you." He walk past them to his car. Klaus and Elijah look at each other before follow that boy.

"Lizzie" Ren calls out grabbing the water jug on table and pour some in a mug before drank it. Elijah and Klaus look around the house. The house look homey and beautiful scents surround the house.

Klaus stand in front the portrait Ren mention earlier. Its was a drawing. Looks perfect like a picture . "I draw that" a voice says. He turn around to see a blonde girl stand there , her hand behind her. The girl chuckles at his clueless face. "Hi.. I'm Henrika Lizzie Mikaelson" she says making Klaus stop gasping. That name. His long died little brother's name. Elijah walk to her "Henrika?" "Yeah..your little brother's name. Henrik. We know. Mom named me that." She explains. "Mom told all your tales. We grew up knowing who u are. Ren text me u both coming. I never thought i will meet u in my life, dad" Lizzie says little sad. Klaus heart skip a beat when the girl call him dad. He wonders is this all real or he is in some kind of spell hallucinating. "Where is Caroline, your mom?" Elijah asks. Lizzie look at Ren then Elijah then her dad. "She..she is no more" Klaus felt his heart breaks. "What?" He ask his voice breaking. "What u mean she is no more?" Elijah look at her. "5 years ago mom figured she was pregnant. With your child. She told she went New Orleans but refuse to meet u. She wander this city, fighting for her life and threats came her way. Because she was a vampire our growth was fast. One day she end up in this pack and people here help her. After we born, people here accepted us in this pack as long mom promised to not bring harm to anyone here. We grew up, socialising with everyone here. Studying at the school u fund. And all. Last time we had fight with rival pack. Big fight. Mom was in it too. And she was ahead them. They saw her has a challenge and They also figured she was a vampire, well actually hybrid because she gave birth to us. With witches help, they..they.." Lizzie sobs, tears roll down her face. Klaus eyes glazed too, wishing he found Caroline earlier. Elijah felt the pain his brother having. He knew his brother's fond for that blonde vampire he met in Mystic Falls. "They take down mom. Ren held her in his laps at her last moment, Mom always says to us how we should be like you and shouldn't be like you. Every time she talk about you she turn into the high school teenage girl who secretly love someone. Her eyes shine when she talk about you. During her  last breath she ask us to pass u a message if we see you one day." Lizzie look at him. "What was it?" Klaus ask impatiently. "He was the last" That was her last words." Ren says looking down. Klaus take a deep breath. He once told her Tyler may be her first love but he intend to be her last. So this was her reply. She was his. Yes. She will be always.

The two kids look at him and suddenly they begin to laugh leaving him confused. "Ren..thats it. I cant. Look at his face" Lizzie says wiping the tears. Ren chuckles wrapping his arm around his twin sister. "Sorry. But that was not true. We played a prank on you." Ren says. "Well it is actually a little punishment to you for taking this long to find us." Lizzie cross her arms. "Mom Is perfectly alright. By the way where is she?" Ren ask his sister. "She went to grocery. Will u like to join us for dinner dad? Uncle Elijah? Mom will be surprise to see,you" Lizzie smiles walking to a counter. Klaus couldn't help but smile at the two kids for pranking him brilliantly. "So like Caroline. Find amusement in my misery" he says looking at his brother who stand with hand over his mouth trying to suppress a smile. "Losing mom is a misery for you?" Lizzie ask turning to him. Klaus "yes" he says looking at another painting in the room which was he and Caroline dancing during the ball at Mikaelson mansion. He saw how he look at Caroline that time. His eyes full of feeling for that lady. His lips curves upside little. "Who u both talking to?" A voice says walking out a room. Everyone turn to see the one and only doppelgänger, Elena stand there. Her eyes wide in shock and she flash fast to Lizzie protectively. "What are you doing here?" She demands at Klaus. "Well..isn't it the lovely Elena." Klaus smirks. "Elena" a voice call her softly, her eyes moving from Klaus to Elijah. "Elijah" she breathes. "Elena, we are not here to harm anyone. Trust me." He place his hands in surrender form. She look forth and back at him and Klaus. "Yes love. I just came to know about my family. Im here not to harm anybody. U have my word." He says firmly. Elena drop her defend mode and coughs holding the couch for support. "Aunt" Lizze holds her. "U need to rest." Ren help her to the couch. "What's wrong?" Klaus ask little concern at her. She look pale and weak. "Five years back something happened. Katherine, she poisoned her. It is slowly killing her ever since. Recently she fall sick very bad. Mom and Aunt Bonnie trying to find a way to save her." Lizzie explains wiping the sweat on Elena's face. "I overheard mom and Bonnie says your blood can heal her. But they were not sure about it too" Ren says looking at Klaus. "Klaus. U can help her?" Elijah asks hoping they could save that girl. Klaus thinks, the girl always were against him. They always try to put him down. Does he should help her? He look at the expectant eyes on him. Elena eyes were drooping and left shaky breaths. He sigh and bite his hand before sat beside her and gave her his blood. Elena hold his hand slurping his blood. Her colour changes and she left his hand go.  "Does it work?" Lizzie ask. "Time will tell us." Klaus says tucking his hand in his pocket. Elijah scoop Elena in his arms walking to the room she was early. Klaus wonder what is it with his brother. "Mom will be home anytime. Make yourself comfortable dad."Ren says walking upstairs. Klaus felt his heart etch every time the two kids call him dad. So far only Hope called him like this. He always were there for Hope but never knew he had another family in this land. The two kids show no hates towards him but love. He have lot to talk to Caroline he think walking to the kitchen where Lizzie went.
