Fenneko's Pov

He pokes my tail two more times after I drop my arm and walks out of my room. I huff into the pillow and get off the bed after sitting up. I then pull the blanket out from under my bed and cuddle with it.

It really does smell like him!

I continue to cuddle with it till the day hits dinner time.

Knock, knock

"C'est ouvert!" (It's open! (It's in French)) I yell, the door opens revealing dad.

"Speak English around me, child. It's time for dinner, and I expect you at the di-wait, what are you doing?"

"Nothing!" I answer as I teleport the blanket under the bed and roll over to look at Slender. "Well, I want you at the dinner table at most," Dad says sighing. I nod, hopping off the bed and following him down to the dining room.

Once there he takes a seat next to mom and I wonder to the end of the table and drop down next to Alger. He's just on his phone, not paying attention.

Dad snaps as a plate of chocolate cake is teleported in front of me. I look up and over to the very fuzzy dad as I then remember I forgot my glasses. I shake my head lightly, forgetting I can teleport and ignore it.

I close my eyes for a moment then open then to find that a bite out of my cake is missing as well as the fork.

I look over to Alger.

He's holding it as well as the bite of the cake on the fork, "C' mon, open up, you need to eat, sugary or not." He says, smiling handsomely. I shake my head lightly, "C'mon, it's chocolate, Bunny!" He says, urging me. "I don't eat," I say.

An Irish-British voice answers me, "Ya don't eat, love? You might want to before ya parish. If you're not in existence the one ya love might move on, though I guess since we can't die it'd be useless anyway!" Yaki says.

Daughter of the Grim Reaper, she's always making death-related jokes, I mean she's Grim's kid, of course, she is.

I glare over at her as she giggles, "Looks like the little bun-bun is a bit pissed, yeh?" She says, laughing a bit more. "Oh, sorry, that was rude of me." She says, her laughing stops.

"No, it made perfect sense, but Yaki. You're Grim's kid, you can take away immortality here, why don'tcha take away Fenneko's, bet she'd be a happy hoppy little bunny, right?" Jeff answers, "She wouldn't see that though, she's too blind to even notice!" He then says as the dining room fills with laughter beside few such as Yaki, Toby and any that are wearing glasses or have eyesight problems. "Shut the Hell up Jeffery! You shouldn't be talking, you have no eyelids!" Killer says (he doesn't has his right eye, so he normally stands up for me)"Just shut up and eat your meal!" He continues, dropping back down, "It's better if we all just shut up!" Monster yells.

Jeff's right though.

"Well, Monster, at least we have emotions!"

"Shut up!"

"Hell, Fenneko's so blind she can't even see Alger doesn't want her around!" Jeff says as he howls with laughter.

I get out of my chair, "That is not true, Jeff!" I hear Alger yell.

He's just saying that because I'm here.

"She's not wearing her glasses, she's even blinder!" Jeff yells as I slink out of the dining room and run up into my room. I run straight into a now very pissed off Quin. I back away from him as he glares down at me. I run past him, crying quietly. I get to my room, swing open the door, and slam it behind me. I slink under my bed and cuddle with the blanket Alger left here.

Alger's Pov

Once she leaves that noise hits me and I get so mad the monster inside is getting real for the order that I give. I walk over to Jeff pick him up by the hem of his sweater and walk outside.

She's not here to stop the beast! I can't be stopped!

I hear that over and over again in my head

"Alger, stop!" I hear Quin yell at me.

"Quin, stop!" I hear Rezi say.

"Why? He's going to kill him not that I'd mind." He says back.

"Quin, he was doing it again!" With that, I throw him into a tree.

"You think it's funny! Well, let's see just how funny life is for you when the real beast is released!" I growl and with that, I black out.

Fenneko's Pov

After calming down I crawl out from under my bed and grab my glasses.

These are such a curse!

I put them on anyway and head downstairs knowing full well it's around midnight. I see Alger asleep on the couch...

Maybe he got lazy?

I smile and slink over the couch.

I can fall asleep next to him, well laying on him and be off him before he wakes up! He will never know!

I do as my plan is and take off my sweater knowing I can sleep in my normal clothes. I curl up next to him on the couch and smile, falling into the realm of sleep thanks to his comforting warmth.

Alger's Pov

Now, I am a dog so my temperature runs higher than normal, so I knew exactly when she came and curled up, but was I going to stop her...

Oh, by the Gods no.

She keeps us balanced.

I wish she could all the time.

But, then we couldn't protect her from the idiots.

True, but she makes us happy.

I know, but we shouldn't get to close.

But, but why?

We both know that we could lose control at any time.

But, I would never hurt her.

I know, but still, it's not good for her.

Please, don't push her away, please.

I don't think I can.

As I talk with my inner beast I slowly fall back asleep.

I know I haven't slept long when I'm awakened by the sense of calm being taken away and without thinking I curl my long arms around her pulling her close my chest.

Thank you.

Ya, we probably wouldn't have been in complete control if someone wakes us and she's warm.

I hear him let out a small purr in my mind the same thing he does when she's close. I feel her relax back into sleep.

"You should probably take her to her room," I open my eyes and seeing Slender. I sigh.

"I know she balances you, but still."

"Ok." I move her in my arms moving slowly as not to wake her walking upstairs and to her room, I set her under her blankets.

Too pink and smells...

Ok, I can change that.

I snap and my favorite black heavy blanket lays on her perfect it helps a lot. Yes, the blanket smells like me, but hey, I'm a dog it's in my nature... So ya, go to Hell.
