"She can enroll to UA together with Kuro! If they bond more, they can strengthen their relationship! I won't be worrying over her anymore if Kuro is with her!" "NO!! Are you insane? Do you know how terrified Naoko was when she stepped out of this house?! She was clinging to me as if someone would snatch her away if she didn't!" he protests, "This plan of yours sounds nice, but you need to think about Naoko's feelings. She's never stepped out of this house for more than five years in fear of getting kidnapped again. The only time she went out during that period was when you and Nighteye were still partners! And it was because you were in the ICU ! She probably thinks that the world is much more dangerous than it is! AND. she was terrified to meet Majin-ō, but she sucked it up and acted the part for your sake! Did you even talk to her about all this?"
Toshinori crosses his arms and shrugs, "Do I have to? It's not my fault she got lost and kidnapped. It was her fault for not following me in such a big crowd. Besides, I doubt she's learning anything from being cooped up in here. I always see her on her damn phone and laptop all the time."
Tsukauchi frowns, "What do you know about her? You barely even visit once a month!"
Toshinori sighs, "Look, I don't care. It's been years. She should just move on! I've saved plenty of kids who got kidnapped, and they didn't end up like her!"
"That's because they were given proper psychological treatment and the freedom to act like a kid!"
"Naoko is different! She's mature for her age so she should act mature and grow up!"
"She's just a kid, Toshinori! And UA?! You want her to become a hero?!"
"What? No, she'd be terrible at that! I'll just have her take the examination exam."
