The Forbidden Loves

Katelynn

Katelynn paces furiously, wishing she could kill Viserys. He gave Daenerys away and she's only thirteen.

Lenore was clearly beside herself with worry for her twin. Katelynn, Lenore, and Viserys would travel with Daenerys and her new husband. Lenore and katelynn because they cared about Dany and refused to abandon her. Viserys because he's a greedy dick and thinks that Drogo will give him what he wants right away.

Katelynn wished with all her heart that Raegar was still alive and then none of this would've happened. Raegar would never let Viserys act like this, a prick. Raegar would've been the greatest ruler and if he were still alive they wouldn't even be in this mess, many leagues away from Westeros.

Katelynn blamed her father though, King Aerys. If he hadn't been labled The Mad King, none of this would never have been.  But he had been mad.

Katelynn sighed and continued pacing. She knew that thinking like this wouldn't change anything. She had to be there for Daenerys and Lenore. If she wasn't there for them, who would be?

She wanted to desperately go out and kill someone or something, but she could not. Katelynn sat down next to Lenore who had finally gone to sleep after crying quietly after Dany had left with Drogo. Katelynn gently stroked her little sister's hair and hoped the other twin was ok.

She eventually drifted off into the land of dreams.

Rhaegar loomed above her. "Sweet sister you'll be ok." He murmurs softly. "Rhaegar why did you die?" is the question Katelynn immediately asks.

"Wake." He says softly, not answering her.

Katelynn opens her eyes and is immediately pissed at the tears that slip down her face. She wipes them away and sits up to see Lenore with a book propped open on her knee. The book she's reading is in Volantese though.

A soft smile lights her face as she reads and kate;lynn knows it's probably one of the stories that she herself had told Dany and Lenore as they grew up.

Lenore doesn't seem to know that Katelynn is awake and Katelynn calmly sits there and watches her sister.

"Can we go find Dany?" Lenore speaks without loooking up from her book.

"I don't know." Katelynn admits. "If she's still with the khal then no."

"So we have to wait for her to find us." Lenore states.

"Yes." Katelynn murmurs.

"Kate?" Lenore asks.

"Yeah?" 

"I dreamed of Rhaegar last night." She murmurs quietly.

Katelynn nods even though Lenore isn't looking at her. "Yeah." She murmurs. "What happened?" 

"He apologized for not being here for you, Dany, and I. He said that everything will be ok and that he misses us. He said that he's waiting for us and we might get to see him soon." Tears traced a path down Lenore's face as she spoke. "He said I've been very brave and that my singing voice is lovely." Lenore then started singing softly. "Where are the people who accused me? The ones who beat me down and abused me? They hide just out of sight, can't face me in the light. They'll return but I'll be stronger." Lenore stops singing and sighs, tears streaming down her face.

Katelynn goes over and embraces her. "I know Lenore." she murmurs. "Trust me, I know." Katelynn sighs and picks up a book that's in the Common Tongue to read.
