The Forbidden Loves

Lenore Targaryen stood with her twin sister Daenerys and older sister Katelynn in front of their older brother Viserys. He was lecturing Dany on what was needed of her and what-not. She was to be married to the Dothraki Lord Khal Drogo.

Lenore felt sad for her twin because she didn't want to and she said so which Lenore knew was a grave mistake on her part. Katelynn didn't say anything, just kept her silence and glared at Viserys when he wasn't paying attention to her.

"But I don't want to marry him," Daenerys told Viserys.

Viserys gave her a dangerous look. "You would want to wake the dragon sweet sister?" Viserys asks her and Dany shakes her head. "I would let Khal Drogo's whole Khalasar fuck you if it meant getting the Iron Throne back." Viserys touches Dany's cheek lightly then turns to Lenore with a smile. "Woudn't I sweet sister?" He asks her. He looks to Katelynn who shrugs at him which he doesn't seem too pleased about.

Lenore nods slightly and he kisses her forehead then Dany's. "You'd do well to follow her lead Dany," Viserys said then walks off with Magister Illyrio.

Daenerys turns to her twin. "But I don't want to marry him," she says softly. She turns her violet eyes on Katelynn. "I don't want to marry him," She repeats.

"I know sister but it is best not to wake the dragon. Plus Khal Drogo will like you. You will be safe with him. I have no doubt that he would harm Viserys if he dared harm you in their presence. I don't support what Viserys just said because that would mean he has no honor. He should care about us but he barely gives me a second glance and sells you off. But I'm going with you, my twin." Lenore promises. She glances at Katelynn who nods. "I'll go with you too," She says' "I'll kill anyone who dares to threaten us."

"I am glad you two will stay with me," Daenerys says with a lot of relief.

"Never leave my twin to dwell alone," Lenore winks at Dany and she laughs, which is sweet to hear.

"Never leave my little sisters behind to fend for themselves," Katelynn adds, laughing.

The three of them had barely laughed together and it felt good to do. Letting off steam. Lenore thought to herself.

"I want to go home," Dany says softly.

"I know. As do we sweet sister," Lenore sighs and takes Dany's hand whilst Katelynn takes her other one.

"We should probably get cleaned up before you meet the Khal." Katelynn says softly.

Dany sighs and looks at the blue sky once more before Lenore and Katelynn herd her inside.

They all strip and walk slowly into the hot and steaming water the maids had set out.

"It's too hot my ladies!" One of the maids cries out but Lenore, Katelynn, and Daenerys ignore her. Besides, they liked the hot water. It made them feel extra clean. Blood of the dragons. Lenore thinks with a soft smile.

When they are done and clean, smelling sweetly of lemons and flowers, the maids help Dany into a silver silk dress and Lenore into a gold silk dress. Katelynn wears a soft green silk dress that brings out her eyes and makes her fiery red hair gleam like a waterfall of flames. Katelynn orders the maids to leave and she brushes out her sisters' long silver hair, much like Viserys's but not her own and then Dany does the same for her and the twins and elder sister go to the balcony and look out over the city quietly until Viserys is due to come for them.

They all lose themselves in their own thoughts and, not for the first time, Lenore wishes she'd known their elder brother Prince Rhaegar. Viserys had told Lenore she would have married him when she came into her womanhood but he'd been slain when the Usurper had taken the Throne and Lenore wished she'd known him. Sometimes she dreamt that he'd escaped with them and they would be married now. All the Targaryens had pretty much married each other to keep their blood line clean and pure. The Targaryens, Blood of the Dragons. Apparently Katelynn had been wed to one of their father's bannermen but he'd died whilst Katelynn lived and she was a widow now. Her child that her husband had left her woth had been miscarried because she had chosen to battle her way out alive to live longer.

But there were no more dragons, and that made Lenore sad. Sad that there were no more dragons. Sad that she and Dany were stuck with Viserys who had a nasty temper. Sad that she'd never known Rhaegar who she was meant to marry. Rhaegar who was her elder brother and brave and smart and.....everything. Sad that Katelynn's child and husband had died though Katelynn didn't seem to worried about that.

Viserys came then, pulling Lenore out of her dark thoughts and Dany out of her's as well. Katelynn gave him a rather cold look. The twins and Katelynn followed him and they waited with Magister Illyrio for Khal Drogo's arrival to first lay eyes on Daenerys.

Khal Drogo and his, blood riders as they were called, rode in on horses.

"You see his hair?" Viserys murmurs to Daenerys. "When a Dothraki loses in battle they have to cut off their braid. Khal Drogo has never lost a battle." Viserys smiles and Lenore turns away so he cannot see her roll her eyes. Everyone knew that if a Dothraki loses a battle they have to cut their braids off. She supposed Dany might not have known but Lenore herself had taught Dany most of what she knew though Dany refused to learn languages with her. Katelynn had taken languages with her and they usually studied oft into the night.

Dany watches Khal Drogo and Viserys gives her a little push and she walks up to him and gazes up at him. He looks at her and Lenore sees a flash of pleasure across his face then turns his horse around and rides out with his blood riders following him.

"Does he like her? He didn't say anything," Viserys frets to Magister Illyrio. He sounds like a bloody girl! Lenore thought and almost laughed out loud.

"Trust me, we'd know if he didn't like her," Magister Illyrio replies.

You got that right. Lenore thinks to herself, fighting off her silent laughter, not wanting it to show. Katelynn has a soft smile on her mouth and they look at each other then turn away, shaking silently, then compose themselves after a moment. They don't dare to look at one another again.

She, Katelynn, and Daenerys slip off to go to their room as their told by Viserys.

Lenore hates Viserys. What brother would say he would nearly 10,000 people fuck their own sister? Plus it doesn't help that they sometimes 'wake the dragon' and he beats them.

"I don't want to marry him," Dany tells her twin and elder sister softly.

Lenore sighs. "I know Dany. But it really is best we not wake the dragon. Plus, I will be with you every step of the way if I possibly can," Lenore promises her twin.

"And I as well," Katelynn says. "I will kill anyone who hruts you Dany."

Dany nods and they stand on the balcony, watching the sunset together.
