So this how Mr Winters would wake up every morning. Comfortably , soft bed sheets & all . I could get used to this kind of lifestyle ,If I play my cards right.
I was in the guest room , standing by the window with nothing but a big black sweater & my black hair wrapped into a messy bun . I continuously rubbed my chin as I heard the birds chirping & admired the garden behind the mansion but I couldn't stop thinking Jake the landlord . The fact that he's actually dead really surprised me. Not gonna miss him though.
The door opened without anyone knocking . It was Jacob , wearing a dark blue suit and his hair was messy like dreadlocks.
"Good morning." He greeted me
"Uhm Good morning to you too."
"how'd you sleep last night?" He asked me.
" I don't want to lie. I'm scared , Jake. Really scared. I didn't sleep a wink last night" I uttered "Where did you burry the body." I dared to ask.
"Don't worry about that , Nicki. There's no blood on your hands."
"You know even if you tell me not to worry , imma still worry , Jake." I Said & he kept quiet " Now Tell me where you hid that body."
"Nicki , don't worry about it. You're in good hands here. Why don't you shower & we can go downstairs to meet my family
"Wait, meet your family? I'm not too sure about this , Jake." I Said , looking worried

"Oh shit that came out wrong . Look , we'll talk about this later but right now can you please shower? The lawyer will be here any minute now." He said to me
"Lawyer?" i asked , confused.
