The wind beat across her face as the layered cloth protected her face from the harsh cold. She overlooked her shoulder for what she hoped to be the last time, her brown eyes starting well as she held back her tears. Her silent goodbye was interrupted by the arrival of a stranger, her skin was a grayish dark indicating a heavy tan, the skin she shown only on her arms and shins was littered with markings. The scowl she bore was reinforced by her folded arms and the towering posture she held. Looking up into the face of her pursuer she pulled away the cloth mask she wore "Hello Iris," "Where are you going Sin?" She peeled the mask completely away revealing her bright juvenescent "That's not my name...not anymore," Sin spoke hesitantly "Regardless you owe me an answer," "I DON'T OWE YOU OR THEM ANYTHING!!" Iris's eyes widened as the sudden outburst was quickly followed by a brisk charge past her.

Iris gave a small chuckle saying "Things certainly came to a head fast didn't they?" "I didn't ask to be put in this position," "Well you definitely aren't handling it with any kind of grace," stopping in her tracks she looked over her shoulder Iris was clearly following her as the village she said her farewell too was now nowhere in sight "Don't You understand!? IF I STAY HERE I WILL DIE!," "AND IF YOU TRY TO LEAVE THE SAME THING HAPPENS!" a sudden silence blanketed the air as Sin gave Iris a stare of confusion. Without a moments hesitation Sin burst off sprinting and jumping over the boulders that blocked her path. The barren land was now no more than dying patches of grass and scattered rocks often used for training, the nicks and sometimes cut clear through the rocks showed great progress. As she rushed pass them she thought about hoe she was never able to complete such a task.

As she traveled further more memories of her less than satisfactory results flooded into her mind. Only thing that stopped her was Iris's sudden appearance in front of her, her emergence accompanied by a broadsword taller than herself. Her silver hair blew as the wind picked up and she stepped slightly around the sword peering around the sword. Sin stepped back and looked around the open field "You got here fast," "Don't run from me Sin...," "Don't chase after Iris," "You know I have to do this...I don't have a choice," "And neither do I...The Shekiah betrayed me," "And Demise is your savoir!?" "MORE THAN ANY OF YOU!!" "I AM DONE!," Iris screamed as she took hold of the blades hilt.

Slowly placing her right hand upside down on the hilt she let her left take hold at the midway of the blade. "You have two choices Sin, come back with me or die!," the hesitation in her voice disappeared "Fine...," Iris relaxed her grip and was thanked by a rain of kunai "WHAT ARE YOU DOING SIN?!," "My name is Cynthia and I would rather die than go back," "So be it...,"

Iris lifted the sword effortlessly and charged Cynthia with ferocious speed. Before she was able to react properly Iris was on top of her, giving three wide slices Cynthia dodged at a hairs length stopping the final slash with her arm which had become covered in a black armor. Pushing away she was pursued by a large overhead slash, her body covered in the black armor was slammed into the ground. The impact released a spray of hidden knives "Ugh," Iris was forced back while covering her face from damage. Cynthia jumped up and attempted to flee but was stop by an explosion of water in her path "Sin!," Iris split her sword rushing at a blinding speed "Duple Espada,"

Cynthia crossed her arms in a attempt to block but Iris slipped through her guard hitting her in the chin with the blade hilt. As her body lifted up Iris leapt in a follow up letting loose slashes from  every direction. The black tar like armor chipped away as the slashes increased in number, eventually the black pieces of armor turned to bloody chucks of flesh. Letting up for a second her body fell to the ground blood oozing from new orifices "I'm sorry Sin...Cynthia, this is the way thing had to be," her body remained unmoved as Iris turned her blade into water and let it soak into the ground.

A cool breeze came over her and a chill crept up her spine and a warm breath was on the nape of her neck as she snapped around to see Cynthia gone. The pool of blood lay undisturbed as well as the chunks of flesh she had just carved out of her. Iris looked around the field not seeing anyone for miles, her mind became uneasy as she pondered how she could've disappeared. Instead of panicking she calmly retrieved a piece of the flesh and left to report the anomaly that had just occurred.
