"Olivia, it is time to go to bed you know how father is when you don't go to bed early," my mother, Olympias of Epirus, softly said. My mother was patient woman when it came to me and my brother. But, when it came to my father she had no patience what so ever due to how arrogant, pompous, and headstrong he is. She from the beginning didn't want to marry my father. She tell's me that if I found ever found love that I would be able to marry him as long as he is loyal, rich, and has some royalty in his blood. But, here I am running to my bed waiting for my mom to tell about another adventure of Hercules. One, of my most favorite heroes of all time. "Mother, will you tell me the story of when Hercules fell in love with a woman again?" I asked. My mother smiled her beautiful smile to me. " Of course, my little fury," my mother has always referred to me as a fury due to my short-temper that she believes that I got from my father.
Once, my mother began to tell the story I became so engrossed into the story I didn't realize I began to fall asleep. Once, I fell asleep I dreamed a dream of how I was a Goddess and I had many children. But, what the people on Earth didn't know was that I was the Queen of the Heaven's instead of Zues. I never wanted to wake up from this dream due to how wonderful and beautiful the dream was. There were many of the Gods and Goddesses bowing down to me as they knew I was the Queen of Olympus. But, what caught my attention was the fact that the God Apollo was holding my hand as if we were lovers like my mother described her and her lover to be once. It felt so right to be with him yet I didn't know what to do in this dream for I knew it was just a dream. Right? Once, the dream ended all I saw was blackness. The next, thing that happened was I heard a voice in the eternal abyss. "Olivia," the voice would whisper my name. It did it over and over until I finally asked what it wanted. "You are destined for greatness Olivia. Greater than your brother, Alexander. Who shall be known as, Alexander the Great for his great deeds. Finally, the voice began to fade, but not without the final words of saying, "Don't forget me."
I woke in short breathes and with sweat all over me. I instantly pulled the covers off me and ran to my mother's room. I tried to hold back the tears of fear of not knowing whether the dream was my destiny or not. I pushed my mother's door open only to see that she was already awake with my brother Alexander. "Mother, please tell me everything will be all right. Please!" I said with great desperation. My mother got a look of worry on her face. "Olivia, what is the matter I just put you to bed five hours ago. What is wrong that has caused you such distress my child?" my mother asked patiently. " There were voices every where telling me I was destined for greatness. Even greater than Alexander mother," I instantly broke out into tears. My mother instantly got up and picked me up and sang the song that she always sung to Alexander and I as children."Don't worry my little fury,
For if you are in a hurry,
I will be there to catch you when you fall,
Don't worry my little fury,
For you will always be my little suri"
I instantly calmed. "My fury do you know that the God's are giving a sign of what is to be expected of your future?" my mother instantly walked to her jewelry stand and pulled out a necklace filled with all types of sea shells from the Aegean Ocean. "My little fury, I want you to have this for this was your father's and this was given to me by him before I became pregnant with you. Take it and always where it, and know that he will always be watching over you night and day," my mother explained.
I took the necklace and placed it on my neck. It was really big on me due to me being a child. But, I knew once I got older it would fit perfectly. My mother began to sing Alexander's and I's song before we both fell asleep in our mother's bed. Knowing that I was destined for greatness along with my brother. Also, a feeling that I will always be protected by the Gods and Goddess' no matter what happens.~*~
