* 6 Months Later *
"Alfie!! Let me see!!" Zoe shouted excitedly, trying to remove my hands over her eyes.
"Just a little bit more. We're almost here." I grinned at her excitement.
Today was Zoe and I's sixth month anniversary. I was taking her to my favorite place in the whole world. It wasn't much, but to me it was special. It was a large tree house I had found when I was 15.
( A/N: The tree house in the picture is where Alfie took Zoe, but just it's at night, not day.)
It turned out to be abandoned. I had spent hours on the tree house, cleaning up, putting up lights, decorating things just the way I wanted. It was a bit like a second home as cheesy as it sounds.
I held her arm steadily climbing the rusty ladder. She flinched a few times causing her to miss a step, but we made it up safely.
I had come earlier to arrange everything. I set up a table with a white table cloth on it. It had a scented candle and a single red rose in a glass vase. The room was surrounded with sparkly lights I had bought earlier. I had tried to make the dinner for us, but I ended up ruining it. I begged my mum to help me and as lucky as I was, she did. Everything was perfect.
"Okay.. You can look now." I said unclasping my hands from her eyes.
She was silent, her eyes wide.
"I know.. You were probably expecting a fancy restaurant with fancy food and people and classy musi-" I looked down, rambling on but then was cut off
"Alfred Sydney Deyes! How could you!?" She exclaimed.
"I-I'm sorry.. I-I'll make a reservation for a restaurant if you'd li-" I knew it, she didn't like it.
"Alfie! Gosh boy, let me finish. How could you do this? It's beautiful. I love it." She looked up a me, her eyes shining.
"I'm glad you do." I grinned leaning down and kissing her lips softly.
She pulled away giggling. "So Mr. Deyes, what do you have planned today?"
"Well, lets see.." I said joking to be thoughtful. "First a tour around 'La Casa Deyes'. Then later we can eat a special meal. And finally, whatever you'd like to do."
"Sounds great to me." She grinned.
I held her hand leading her to the front of the tree house. It was a small balcony presenting a view of the forest. The stars shone above brightly, along with a full moon.
"Wow.." She gasped quietly.
"Nice huh?" I grinned at her expression.
"Very." She laughed putting her attention back at me. She put her hands on my chest, her face dangerously close to my own. She leaned in as if she were about to kiss me and then stopped, teasing me.
"Zoeee..." I groaned laughing.
"If Alf-Alfa wants a kiss he has to earn it." She teased again.
"Oh really?" I asked, pretending to be surprised.
She nodded smiling slyly. I couldn't resist any longer, I leaned in towards her and kissed her soft lips. She deepend the kiss, her fingers locked around my neck. I broke loose of her grasp and chuckled at her.
"Seems like I'm not the only one who wants a kissie-kissie." I cackled back my head with laughter.
"Oh forget it." She smiled, blushing. "So what else is there?"
