While Japeto slept the blue fairy came through the window and awoke the little wooden puppet. she told him "Pinnochio if you want to be a real be you must be honest and honerable. Can you do that" "oh boy can I" replied Pinnochio. "Good now don't wake your father he is very tired from a hard day of work". "Ok but when will he wake up". "Soon Pinocchio soon".
Then the blue fairy flew out the window. Pinocchio waited for his father Japeto to wake up and when he did his face drained of all it's color. He screamed and shot out of the room. When Pinocchio found him he was curled up in the corner. Pinocchio walked up and said "what's wrong". Japeto shakily said "If you were sent here by the dark one then please I beg of you spare my life.
Pinocchio said " don't worry I'm not here to hurt you. The blue fairy made me alive so you could have a son". "Oh wha wha what's your n n n name" replied. "Pinocchio" "is this real or is this just a dream". It's real replied Pinocchio. Japeto was so overrun with joy that he started dancing with Pinocchio.
The Next week Japeto sent Pinnochio to school.
when Pinnochio got home he was crying tears of sap
Japeto asked" what's wrong Pinnochio?"
all the kids at school laughed and called me names. they also tied strings to me and made me dance like a puppet.
"I'm so sorry my boy from now on you are home schooled
So Japeto taught Pinnochio how to read, write and count. he also taught him the alphabet and how to play the piano. But the most important thing Japeto taught him was how to carve wood.
