Chapter 2

So I got ready for my first day at the new job. I almost ran out of my apartment because I miss-read the time by 20 minutes and I thought I was late.

I hailed a cab, got into it and told her driver my work address.

'I really need to get a car' I thought while rolling my eyes. This job pays a lot so I'll probably be getting one very soon.

In no time we reached Valentino Corporation and I was like five minutes early, so I thought I might as well get Mr. Valentino his coffee. I thought might as well get for myself one.

I waited in line for me to order when I got to the front of the line there was a cute hot guy taking orders...

I just smiled politely and I ordered for Mr Valentino and myself. After that I went back to work and went to deliver Mr. Valentino his coffee.

I knocked on his door and waited for his reply. He finally said I could enter. When I did enter his office I went straight to him and put the drink on his table. I then turned around and was about to go out but stopped dead in my track when I heard. "Stop!" coming from my 'boss'.

I turned around and looked at him. "Yes sir?" I was purely irritated. 'Why is he calling me?' I said that in my head. He was busy looking at his laptop but lifted his head when I replied to him.

"Come have a seat!" He said while raising his left eyebrow. "We didn't go over my schedule and you are just leaving like that." He said in a cold tone and he rolled his eyes while saying that.

"Oh, I was just going to get my notepad and a pen I was gonna come back." I said while shrugging my shoulders. " I know my duty sir!" I continued on smugly might I add.

"Do you mind if I do that." This time it was my turn to raise my eyebrow. He gestured with his hands for me to go and get it. I turned around again and left his office with a smirk on my face. I went to my office got the notepad and pen and returned back to his office.

I knocked on the door once again and entered after his reply. "Next time Miss. Grey learn to bring ur notepad and pen otherwise I'll lend you one of my pens and you will have to write on your hands do you understand me?" He said in a low husky tone.

'Damn I just got burned by my serious cold boss!' I mentally slapped my forehead for that. 1 point for Mr. Valentino and 0 for me. After that I just kept quiet and took down what he told me and when to schedule it.

Guess what he had lunch with a woman named Cecilia Jones. Apparently she's a famous super model. Damn what a lucky guy, but let me not forget he is the all famous 'Luca Valentino' so obviously he would go out with someone up to his standards or whatever.

Anyways not my business I just need to remind him of all that when the time comes and go on with my life as I should have done.

I left his office and went into mines. I did the e work he told me to do.

Eventually it was lunch break. And I went to Mr.Valentino's office to remind him of his lunch break but he wasn't there.

I went to the canteen and ordered food. Rosy came to sit with me we became friends immediately. She was no lie a very beautiful women. I envy her looks.

We had lunch and I went back to my office after lunch was over.

The week went fine it was Thursday today everything went as usual. I got a call from Derek. He was saying something of us going to a club and well it's Derek you can't get anything through his head.

I went to have lunch as usual with Rosy we spoke alot and I told her about the club and she told me about her life. She lives with her parents still and she and her boyfriend broke up a while back,  since then she never got herself a new one. She says men are trash and I hundred percent agree especially when I'm in the presence of Mr.Valentino.

Well anyways I told her about my ex's and how long I didn't have a boyfriend and I don't want one since my last boyfriend broke my heart and left me like I was trash because I didn't want to give him my precious virginity which I'm not gonna lie is precious because you only have that once in your life once it's gone you can't have it back, that was in high school so it was a while ago and I'm proud to still have it. And I would like to wait for marriage before that happens. So no thank you to him for wanting it.

Anyways forget about that shit, he isn't worth my time. Back to Rosy. She's like the sweetest person you will find she reminds me of an old highschool friend of mines. We were close but I guess we just lost contact over the years as we grew up and never contacted eachother again.

After my nice lunch with the very sweet Rosy I went back to my office and did my work. After about two hours Mr.Valentino called me an I had to go to us his office.

Before entering I knocked and heard a ,"Come in!" And I then entered. Mr. Valentino told me to have a seat so I sat there in his office.

"Ms. Grey, listen carefully, we are celebrating our thirtieth anniversary for this company next month so I am leaving you responsible for the decorations of the ball and it better be up to my standards!", spoke Mr.Valentino in that irritatingly rude tone of his.

"Sure sir, but I would need your opinion in what should be happening.", this is not my first time being in charge of decorations for an event in high school I used to be part of those that decorates our prom night.

"You may leave Ms. Grey.", He said dismissively. I left the office but not before saying, "I won't let you down Mr.Valentino!", with a smile. And before I reached the door he lost out a "We'll see about that.", with a stupid smirk on his face.

I went back to my office and thought about that whole conversation and just shook my head at how rude he his and just shrugged it off. Before I could get to work Mr.Valentino called me again and told me he forgot to give me the files I was supposed to work on. So I had to go back to his office, get the files go through another one of his rude tantrums or whatever and get back to my office.

I did my remaining work and completed with the files. I had to sort that out in order after I was done with the inside of the files. By the time I was finished with everything it was time to go home. So I went to Mr.Valentino's office dropped th files, and told him I was going home he just replied with an okay.

I left and went to the elevator and pressed the bottom for it to come to my floor and waited for a few minutes before it came when it reached I entered and pressed the ground floor. The lift went down and as I was going out of the building I greeted the security guard Joe and went straight to the bus stop. As I was on the bus I thought about how my first day went and sighed.
