Chapter 13

Guys, I'm so sorry I didn't update in such a long time. I just had and still, have writer's block. But I tried writing because a lot of people keep on asking me to update so I had to. I hope you enjoy this chapter

I opened the door and what stood behind it was the most beautiful man I've seen, no doubt. But he was also a jerk it was the jerk I knew and that there was the reason why I don't like him. Kindness can make a person very attractive and arrogance can drop that attractiveness a whole lot.

But what I also couldn't believe is that he wore a suit that matched me. It was almost the exact same shade of blue as mine. He probably did that on purpose.

I went out and closed the door on my way out while shouting to Adri to be safe. He held out his hand but I just walked past it and straight to the car, ignoring Luca.

He came in a Lamborghini, I just rolled my eyes at that. Not caring about the car I climbed in and a few seconds later he too entered. He started the car and drove towards the destination.

We were a bit early so we were in no rush. Luca drove slowly and I was just enjoying the drive. Not because of the car but because it was quiet and peaceful. No words were said, no music was playing, it was just me and him being comfortable with each other's presence.

We arrived at the destination a few minutes later. I got out of the car and went in. There were a few early bird's but that's it. All the decor was perfect so all I had to worry about was the party going smoothly.

Luca then entered and his jaw dropped all the way to the ground after he has seen the decor. I just laughed at his reaction and then had a smug look on my face. I went to check on the food and how it was going along.

There was a small issue about a few waiters not being able to make it but was soon sorted out by giving each waiter an extra task. And other than that everything else was perfect. All we had to do was wait for guests to arrive.

About half an hour later the place was full and the music was on. I was however waiting for my dearest friends and cousin to arrive. A few minutes passed and finally, I saw Derek and Mel enter. I went to them and gave them tight hugs.

"Wow guys, you both look out of this world." I couldn't believe it was the same friends I knew. They both looked so good. Mel wearing a purple or more like a lilac gown that was silver on the top, she looked so beautiful, I was in awe. And Derek wore a black suit looking so hot, that I almost died right then and there. Pity he is gay.

We spoke for a little while then I had to entertain a few guests. A few minutes after, Adri arrived and she wasn't alone. Next to her was the man that looked like Luca. I remembered him, I think his name was Vincenzo if I was not mistaken.

But the thing with him was that he had a dangerous feel to him. He had tattoos on his fingers and had an icy look on his face making all the men in the room look like scared little boys. He is clearly not someone you would want to mess with.

So what I didn't understand was the reason why Adrianna is with him of all people. He looked too dangerous to be with her. But these thoughts all stopped the minute he looked at her. All I saw on the look on his face was adoration. And I wondered when did this happen.
