Chapter 10

Luca's Pov

'Arianna left, how did I let that happen I should have done something to stop her. I am the worst boss ever. I need to get her back to work here. How am I going to protect her if she is not close to me?' I thought to myself while panicking.

I couldn't help but remember how I acted with her the past few weeks. I had been really horrible but I have a reason for doing that she would understand. But I can never be with her. One, she wouldn't want me after how I acted. Two, the only way to keep her safe is when we are not in a relationship that way people won't think that she is my weakness.

As I sat at my desk with my head down thinking of ideas on what to do to get her back to working here. She also needs a job to pay her bills so it would benefit us both this way. And then I got an idea horrible but it might just work. She would probably hate me after this but it would keep her safe.

So I took the contract put and got ready for what I planned to do. I have no choice here I don't want a repeat of the last time I didn't keep her safe enough. I started reminiscing what happened. I just shook my head to get rid of that thoughts I didn't need a reminder and now was not the time to think of that.

I needed her here back so I would not distract myself I just need to give her time to cool off then I will get her to work here again.

I knew the enemy had spies planted here in the office and around town. One always following me so I needed to think smartly on how to get to her without being seen.

I left the building thinking of giving her a week before going to her so that they think I don't care enough to see her. To get them to think otherwise I go on dates daily with different women but I never sleep with them, I just take them home and they sleep in a separate room.

Only one woman has my heart and I am not interested in the others. I can't even get turned on by them, however just by looking at Arianna it happens. She just has that natural charm and she doesn't even need to look like a cake like the women I date to do that, she just is the most beautiful woman naturally. Anyways I don't like it when women wear too much make-up.

I had a date tonight with Cheryl Stone tonight a famous model. I went straight to my penthouse, I then took a shower and wore a different Armani suit than earlier. It was another black one but looked similar to the other one I wore earlier that day and I also hat a black tie with a white undershirt.

I left for my date at 7:45pm and went to pick Cheryl up for our 8:00pm date by the time I got to her house it was 7:55pm.I went to her door and knocked and waited. Her house was actually pretty simple for a model of her status. I was surprised actually.

She opened the door, came out and hugged me I just hugged her back because they were watching, they always are. We left her house and went to the restaurant I remembered it was the same one Arianna went on a date with Anthony to. At that thought I clenched my fists and grinded my teeth together.

We entered and the hostess showed us to a reserved table. We both sat down and they served wine to us and took our orders. I ordered a steak and she orders some chicken dish, no salad?

"So Luca, tell me about more yourself other than the things that is on the internet." Other women don't bother getting to know me they only want money except for Arianna of course. I remembered the time Arianna asked me questions too.

We spoke for a while I told her a little about myself, she done the same. Eventually the food came in the middle of the dinner she asked me something. "Luca, I can see you not really interested in this date." I just choked on my drink as I just took a sip when she started speaking.
