Part 11: The Student Council President

You sit with Pyrrha as she tells you about this world she came from. She quickly changes subjects when a boy with pale skin and white hair walks up.

Pyrrha: Hello, Joshua.

Joshua: Miss Flare.

He looks at you.

Joshua: You must be Y/N.

Y/N: Um... Yeah.

Joshua: Then you're coming with me.

Y/N: Wait why?

Joshua: You are believed to be a human by several people and we cannot let that go unnoticed.

He drags you to the Student Council office.

Pyrrha: Oh no...

Joshua makes you sit down and shows you interviews he's had with Rei and the other girls.

Joshua (in interview): Do you think Y/N is human?

Rei: What? Of course not.

Lila: No way.

Nia: Negative.

Coco: I seriously doubt that.

Lucy: I don't think so.

Sophie: No.

Hikari: Not at all.

Ceres: No.

Joshua (in interview): Then why doesn't he show any traits like other monsters?

The girls go silent, not sure how to answer.

Sophie: He used is abilities to defend my honor.

Joshua (in interview): Can anyone here at the moment confirm that besides you? I can't go off just one person's word.

Sophie: ...

Joshua cuts the video and looks at you.

Joshua: You will be executed at sunrise. You will remain here until then.

He walks out and locks the door. You cough but see that you coughed blood.

Meanwhile, Pyrrha has found the others and told them that Joshua took you away.

Rei: What?!

Lila: Oh no...

Sophie: This is my fault... I should've tried to get more evidence...

Nia: ...

Pyrrha: Now isn't the time to beat yourself up over it. I overheard some students on the way here, Joshua plans on executing Y/N tomorrow at sunrise.

Nia: That gives us approximately nine hours, thirty five minutes, and sixteen seconds to rescue him.

Headmaster: You won't be able to do much without help.

They see the cloaked man.

Pyrrha: Headmaster.

Headmaster: It is time I explain. While not exactly a monster, I am actually a god of wishes. I can preform miracles upon the world. I am the reason Y/N's parents met.

Hikari: His parents?

Headmaster: Y/N is merely half human. His other half is High Demon. But... I made a miscalculation... The ancient cursed blood of a High Demon is not mixing well with the human...

Ceres: What do you mean?

Headmaster: Y/N's dying. Slowly but surely. I doubt he'll live to see graduation. And when he transformed to defend you, Sophie, he accelerated the process.

Rei: He's not going to make it halfway if we keep standing around!

Miss Hart: Calm yourself.

Headmaster: He can be saved. But you must bring him to me.

Lila: If you're so powerful, why not free him yourself?

Headmaster: Even deities have limitations.

Nia: I have a plan.

The girls huddle up and Nia starts explaining.
