Monster School (Male Reader X Monster Girls)

Part 12: Breakout

You sit in the office of the Student Council, awaiting your fate.

Y/N: Guess I couldn't hide it forever...

You cough up more blood and your skin has paled, though you weren't sure why.

Suddenly a wall explodes as Nia stands there with her gun arm ready.

Y/N: Nia?

The others come up.

Sophie: We're busting you out.

All of you try to run to the Headmaster's office but Joshua blocks off your path.

Joshua: None of you are going any further.

Rei: Like hell you're stopping us!

She puts your hand on her head and shoots electricity at the Council President who simply shrugs it off.

Joshua: Allow me to show you what I really am.

He sprouts scaly red wings and his limbs become draconic.

Hikari: A Dragon?!

Joshua: For attempting to plot against the student council, your sentence is DEATH!

He blasts a column of fire at you but Sophie creates a wall of flames to counter it.

Sophie: How do we stop him... Wait, Y/N can you demon up again?

Y/N: What?

Lila: He can't! He doesn't remember that and even if he did, the Headmaster said every transformation accelerates the decaying!

Y/N: What are you talking about?

Rei: No time to explain now!

Joshua flies through the flames and knocks the girls back. You stare at the dragon in fear.

Joshua: Time to make an example to those who break my law!

He goes to slash you with his claws but Nia jumps in the way, getting the Automaton destroyed.

Y/N: Nia!!!

You hold her remains of her upper body.

Y/N: Why?

Nia: As... I said... I made pr-protecting you... Primary... Protocol. I decided... To do what... I... Want... I protected... Until the end... Thank... Youuuuu....

Her purple eyes go dim and you cry as you hug her tightly and the others begin to tear up as well.

Joshua: No tears. You'll join her soon enough!

You yell out causing your body to be engulfed in darkness. This time, your entire body is covered in shadows except your eyes which glow scarlet red.

Y/N: I'LL KILL YOU.

You strike Joshua multiple times and he bites your shoulder. This however, only seems to piss you off as you nearly kill him by blasting him with darkness. After Joshua is defeated, you revert to normal but your veins are now very visible and black and your skin is chalk white. You almost fall but Ceres catches you.

Rei: We're running out of time!

They get you to the Headmaster and he looks at you.

Headmaster: Forgive me... I am responsible for this... I tried to bring monsters and humans together. Now allow me to heal you.

He glows as the darkness fades from your veins and your skin reverts to its original color.

Headmaster: It is done. You are now fully human. And you can live a long life.

Y/N: I may be alive but... Nia...

Hikari and Lila hold the Automaton's parts in their arms. You press your forehead against Nia's and mutter.

Y/N: You wanted to protect me... But... You lost your own life in the process... I'm sorry... Nia...

The following day, Joshua is removed from his place as Student Council President and you and the girls sit in Rei's and your dorm playing one of Rei's video games. You watch as the girls play. While they seem alright, the past few hours have been a lot... They're just trying to take their minds off of those events. You go to Nia's dorm and see Pyrrha waiting for you.

Pyrrha: Hey.

Y/N: You sure you want to help with this?

Pyrrha: I may not be a mechanic but I can try my best.

The two of you look at a table with blueprints on it.

Y/N: Then let's get to work.

A/N: That's the end of this season. Since I'm busy moving, I probably won't update anything for a while after this. Depends on how long the moving process will take. Until then, I hope you enjoyed this part.
