Sunday was a blackout for me. I knew I was angry, but after actually seeing her in my face I didn't know I was that angry. To a point my blood was boiling. She was sitting on Brysons lap quietly as he talked to all his cousins.

"Look mommy, daddy!" Kai pointed in my arms. Of course he knew how to walk it was just always easier to carry him.

"Go with grandma bub." I told him. I really didn't want to pop off so soon into the bbq but her words were playing through my head.

"I, otay." He ran straight to the kitchen knowing that's exactly where she would be. She always was it was her favorite place.

I took in a breath before walking into the dining room where they all were. Bryson was first to see me his jaw clenching. Then the attention was on me, his uncle shot up from his seat giving me a hug, "Now this is the girlfriend we like Bry." His uncle pointed to me.

"Don't know why." His girl whispered under her breath.

And that's when I just saw red. I pushed his uncle off me knowing it was something I was going to have to apologize for later, "What bitch?" I turned to her. "I'm really getting tired of your slick ass mouth."

She just laughed laying back on Brysons chest.

"Ma said this was finna happen." The uncle I pushed whispered to one of their cousins.

"Pipe down Lani." Bryson spoke up. Which made everything worse for me I know he's not defending this bitch knowing how angry I am.

"Nah nigga tell your bitch to meet me outside cause I'm not about to disrespect your mas pad." I said honestly. She was so loud in messages but wasn't saying shit as I was in front of her.

"You not fighting her Lani." He stood up letting her sit by herself on the chair standing in front of her.

"Bryson tell her. I'm really not playing she wanted to say all this shit about how you gonna love her baby more than Kai. If you don't fucking move and tell her you can get some too I give two fucks right now."

She peeked her head from behind him, "You mad? I'd be mad too if I was ghetto like you."

"Bitch shut the fuck up." Surprisingly that came from Brysons mouth and it wasn't to me.

"Ah hell no. If this bitch don't go outside Imma drag her out." One of his girl cousins said from behind me. "Y'all know I love dog walking bitches."

"Bryson tell that girl to go outside!" His ma called from inside the kitchen.

"Yeah outside!" Kai repeated after her. Was I a bad mom for doing this around him?

He sighed looking to her, "You gonna have to handle."

She looked at him in disbelief, but quickly changed her expression letting in a breath shrugging, "It ain't ever nothing."

She finally got up and I was just happy I was finally going to get my fight. I turned to go through the sliding doors to get to the back when I felt my hair pull me back.

I flipped around since she just had enough to grab my tips and not the actual root of my hair. Either way that shit still hurt, but in the moment it didn't matter. All I wanted to do was punch her, and I did.

With each punch she'd lose grip of my hair then grab back on into it. I pushed her onto the floor getting on top of her just feeding her face with my fist until his uncle picked me up.

I kicked trying to get him to lose his grip I wasn't done, "Think of Kai." He whispered trying to calm me down. But it was all her fault I fought her in front of him, but really it was mine for ever coming.

I was just so angry, and her face triggered it.

With tears of anger in my eyes I pointed off to Bryson who was holding an ice pack to the girls face, "And on Kais life Bryson if you stay with that bitch there's no chance I'll take your ass back. Ever."

The last thing I remember seeing was him drop the pack on the floor backing away from her.
