CHAPTER FIVE ; the new girl

A loud sigh leaves north's lips, as
she stares herself down in
the mirror.

"i'm gonna mess up. i'm gonna mess up. " north repeats to herself, & closes her eyes saying " god, i know messed up but let me fix it and make things right " she prays, but doesn't realise how weak she is making herself look.

" you're not weak diablo " a sudden voice says behind her, making her jump around and grab her gun pointing it at the person.

" shit if i knew you were going to shoot me, i would've drop dead by now hyna " sad eyes rolls his eyes, before falling onto north's bed.

" you know, if i knew you were coming i would've put a towel down " she said, putting her gun back on her waist bands.

" but no, i'm being for real your not weak. honestly don't know what could make you think that " he said, sitting up and facing her.

" wouldn't you like to know " she mutters, before facing herself back in the mirror and fix's the sliver chain with a cross hanging from her collarbone.

" whatever i've gotta run with spooky " he said, getting up sighing and walking towards the door " and you'll be fine tonight north don't worry " before walking out the door, leaving north once again on her own.

" yeh thanks " she muttered looking at her phone checking the time " i've got 30 minutes maybe i should grab some flowers "

as north pulls up to the martinez house, nerves start to kick in " stop being a fucking pussy north " she said to herself before grabbing the roses she picked up and jumped out her car.

she locks her blue camero and turns around starting to walk to the door.

she knocks on the door and quite quickly it was opened by mr martinez " oh north, how nice to see you, dinner is almost ready " he smiled and let her in, telling her geny is in the kitchen.

" evening mrs martinez " north said, walking into the kitchen smiling " oh hello north, oh my mija look at these flowers " mrs martinez beams, quickly grabbing the flowers north passed to her.

" oh you didn't have to mija thank you " mrs martinez said, causing north to shake her head " no it was fine mrs martinez " which mrs martinez quickly stopped " no mija call me geny, ruby's in his room with his friends "

" oh his friends are here " north said nervously " yes they decided to stay, you should go say hello " she says causing north to hesitate to nod and walk towards ruby's room.

" yo " she said, walking in the room causing the kids to turn there head and face them but there was another face with them.

" oh north, what are you doing here " ruby said, getting up and giving her a unusual handshake.

" uh, i'm here for dinner " she said before turning her head towards the girl she hadn't seen before " who's this " she said looking her up and down.

" oh i'm olivia " the girl said, quickly standing up and walking over to north with her hand out to shake " nice, i'm north " she said, shaking her hand.

" what are you guys doing " north said, turning towards the others curiously " we're just getting to know olivia " monse said sourly, looking at north in distaste.

" damn okay, no need to plan my funeral princesa " north said, sitting down on the couch smirking.

" alright alright, enough we should just continue what we were doing " ruby said, causing jamal to nod as well.

" fine, then olivia what's something you haven't told us yet and then we'll go around and say something " monse said, leaning back in the chair she's sitting on.

" uhm well i'm from texas yeah, i'm 14 and my parents are deported " olivia said sadly, but started smiling.

" damn okay who's next " north said raising her eyebrow looking over everyone " you should go " cesar said, looking at the older girl in amusement.

" well i ain't that interesting " she said crossing her arms getting more comfy on the couch that she was on " well i'm 16, i'm in the santos and i'm bisexual. see not that interesting " she shrugged.

" oh so your proud that your in a gang " monse started rolling her eyes, " monse come on- " cesar tried as ruby, jamal and somewhat olivia sit in amusement.

" no cesar, let her have a kiddie tantrum " north said chuckling " oh i'm kiddie, look at you freaking sitting like your a guy without a penis " monse fought back.

" oh you little- " north started angrily going to get up causing monse to quickly get scared but mrs martinez came in.

    " dinners ready kids "
