CHAPTER SIX ; i'm a mistake .

The heavy tension was very known
around the dinner table
and wasn't very calming.

some of the night consisted of monse and north giving rude looks & glares to each other.

some of the night consisted of olivia and north catching glances to each other and cesar feeling out of place.

" by the way miss and mr martinez thank you so much for inviting me for dinner " north decided to conversate.

" it was really no problem north, your always welcome here " mr martinez said smiling, as he passes bread to ruby.

" now everyone, how is school going " mrs martinez said, digging her fork into her potatoes.

" easy ! " jamal exaggerates and gives a bright smile.

" really ? what about you north ? you graduate soon , are you going to college " mrs martinez said excited.

" bet she can't even go to college " monse blurts, causing cesar and north to give her a stare.

" actually, since i graduate soon. i was thinking, instead of going straight to college i would travel down to see my family and stuff for the first year, and then start college " north smiled, and shocked everyone by her plans.

" wow that's good, how's your brother doing anyway " mr martinez said, interested.

" uh he just started highschool like these ones but he's a year younger " she said, and ruby butts in " what so he's 14 " surprised by the question she replies with a yeah.

" well why doesn't he come over here and start school with us " jamal butts in too.

" uhm he can't, uhm what about olivia can we ask about olivia " she scurries trying to avoid the question.

and with that everyone starts talking about olivia or school. but, cesar and olivia on the other hand were more suspicious then others.

it was after dinner and the house was quiet. miss martinez and abuletia we're doing the dishes, mr martinez had got called in for a night shift and the kids were just relaxing.

as for north, she was on the porch and was trying to contact her brother.

" what do you mean he doesn't wanna talk to me " she asked her uncle quietly.

" well he's got his own life now alright and doesn't need you here " her uncle said harshly, " but i'm tryin- " she said but got cut off, "no your not! you haven't seen him in 3 years north, every time you call it's after you have yourself beaten up or wanting something "

" no i don't uncle, i care for him and you won't let me see him " she cried.

" then what, you'll come back into his life and ruin it again " he fought " no i won't let you come here and ruin his life alright, now this discussion is over " he said, before hanging up and leaving north in a stage she was used to, loneliness.

" hey north, uhm are you alright " out of no where, olivia comes out the door.

" yeh i'm fine heh, just tell everyone i had to go somewhere and i'm very sorry " north said, and with that she left, calling up one of her one night stands and doing the only this she was good at.

being a mistake.
