This oneshot plot bunny has been jumping around my brain for a while now. So I am now letting it loose in hopes it will leave me alone.

*glares*

Ahem, anyway, moving on. This was inspired by BookBird1497 and her Home series, specifically the third book.

So, enjoy!

~~~~~~
Alice gripped her head in pain, crying out and alerting those on the mission to what was happening.
"Oreo?" Willow asked, looking over at her twin. "Oreo!"
Alice fell to her knees, still screaming.
Mathew, who they had rescued two missions earlier, looked on in shock and confusion.
Alice looked at them through a part in her hair, her eyes wild.
"Oreo?" Willow asked again hesitantly.
Alice stood, her hair moving out of her face. Her eyes were wide and wild, a manic grin stretched across her face.
Before anyone could move she zipped around, killing their W.O.R.L.D. captives. She then turned to them, the same look on her face, covered in blood.
Taking a step forward, prepared to jump out of the way, Willow held her hands up as a sign of peace.
"Lissy, listen to me."
Alice snarled and began to walk towards Willow. But before she could take two steps, she cried out. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head and she fell to the ground, Willow catching her before her head smacked against the concrete.
"Someone get me another bed! And contact the planes! We're ready to go."
She checked her sister's wounds before sighing in relief.
"Not her blood this time."
Matthew's eyes widened.
"This time?!" He shrilled.
He never got a response as Willow was already wheeling Alice towards the planes.
~~~~~~

Alfred looked through the window into Alice's hospital room.

"How is she?" He asked his daughter.

Vale sighed, running a hand through her hair. "She'll be fine as far as I can tell. I'll need to do a bit more research on why this has been happening to her."

"Does Mattie know?"

She nodded. "The kids do too. Milo and Tael are still pretty pissed at her but understand why she had to leave."

Alfred nodded. "Alright."

~~~~~~
Mattie sighed. He had refused to leave Alice's side since he found out. He couldn't believe this.
Well he could. What he couldn't believe was that Alice didn't trust him enough to tell him.
He looked down at her. She had finally fallen back asleep. After she woke up she had turned to Matthew and began to sob about how sorry she was and how much of a horrible person she is.
Mattie had managed to calm her down and she had finally drifted back to sleep.
~~~~~~

Matthew carried her back to her room. She was probably able to walk on her own but Mattie wasn't having it. She was practically dead on her feet with how tired she was.

Gently laying her in bed, he turned to leave, but a tug on his sleeve stopped him.

"Don't go," Alice whispered sleepily.

He stared down at her.

She released his sleeve and turned so her back was facing him.

"I'm sorry. I had no right to say that."

He stood there for a few more moments before making up his mind.

Matthew slid in next to Alice, wrapping his arms around her.

She tensed but relaxed and turned towards him again, burying her face in his chest.

Alice sighed contentedly, falling asleep once more.

~~~~~~
Well, there you go. Sorry it's so choppy. It was written from the little bits and pieces of dreams I've been having about this.
Hopefully the bunny is gone and I can sleep without it disturbing me tonight.
