Lauren parked her bike on the front lawn. She grabbed the groceries from the cart and smiled at Alice.

The door creaked open as the two exhausted girls stepped inside.

The house was quiet

No heavy rock music

No patter of her loud footsteps, storming to her odd music

No Alexa ....

Alice gave Lauren a worried glance as she stepped foot in the next room.

No Alexa

Each room there was no sign of her.

" what the hell ", Alice's voice sang

Her blood pricked through her veins as the hair on her neck stood up. 'Something wasn't right' she thought to herself.

Alice was so focused on her own thinking she didn't notice Lauren skip into the basement.

Alice stood alone for a minute, watching nothing but the clock as it struck 12

And then she heard Lauren's scream
