The building was breath-taking . We werent inside the gates but it was amazin. There was a parking space and then infront of me are 3 buildings alined next to each other . Those buildings were sorrounded by a concrete wall and a pool of light blue water with creatures in it sorround the place .
There was a tall wooden gate that gets to be put down by chains of metal that serves as a passage way inside . Huge . The only thing that can describe it . When your still outside , You'll probably think that this building is for haunted creatures , but when you get in , its like a palace for fairies .
There was green pasture sorounding the buildings , plots of flowers on eachpathway to the doorstep . Neatly full grown trees scattered infront of the building and benches on each tree . There were students having a picnic , enjoying their day . Reading a book or just walking around with someone .
you can actually tell that danger is a foreign feeling here . I dont know wwhy but , i feel like , this place is my home .. Well despite the fact that i am actually gonna live here from now on . Because of the rules of the transformaton that if a girl transfers , the next year , cannot be transfer AGAIN . So i can say that this is where i FINALLY belong to . No matter how weak i am , they have no choice , its in the rules that i cannot be ever exchange again . And im thankful for it .
My saddness left me a while ago but the pain remained inside just as always . I make my way to the front doors of the main bulding while strolling my bag behind me . I could feel pairs of eyes follow me while i make every move that i make .
why the hell are they looking at me like im sorth of a demon or something ? i think to myself
atlast , i reached the front doors . It opened by itself welcoming me with pure white walls , Cleanly furnished furnitures and a sanitizing welcome . the first thing that you can see are a staircase , a hallway , and a neatly furnishe floor .
It was like a palace to be honest . There were still eyes on me and i felt like a peice of meat , ready to be eatin , sooner or later .
" Hi , are you new here ? " someone asked as i quickly turened around to find a girl with a light purple hair with a smile on her face . She had beautiful Brown big eyes that would sparkle . Her petite body wasnt in vision because of an oversized sweatshirt she was wearing .
"Yeah , i- im the transferee and i just .. arrived so ... Yeah ... CAn you show me wheres the alphas office is ? " I ask politely . My voice having a tint of kindess , which wasnt surprising at all .
"Oh.." She replied quietly without giving me a glance . She looked down at the floor and shook her head a little bit beore sighing and snapping her head again to me
"I just remembered he announced a while ago that he was in an urgent meeting with the other alphas . So in my guess , he wont be back until tonight . But you you can stay at my room if you want " She says with a wide smile on her face . That smile .. I feel akward seeing it . I think i saw that smile before .
keep your stupidity to yourself fae . My inner wolf whispered .
"Yah sure thanks " I say in awe . She led me into the halls where there were so many doors . It was like an endless castle .
"The rooms here are for highly trained wolves . Or for the actual members of the pack . Each room consist of two , but dont worry , i dont have a room mate . The alphas office is upstairs . Its kind of confusing if you look for it . It has a lot of turns . At these hours , he normally just checks the underground layer and eery part of the institute . If you havent noticed ,All the members of silver chain pack has this mark on the neck . Here look at mine .." She said while we halt infront of an aerage room . She put her hair unto the other side of her neck and it revealed an initial of SC . Though it was small , i think it was like a trademark . For a pack to claim a wolf , they need to put something like these to claim it .
"Cool " i whispered . She started walking to the endless halls again while i follow behind her back .
"Wait , How do you know what the alpha does at these moments ?" I ask , repeating all she said earlier . She suddenly stopped and twisted her head a bit .
"Believe me , you dont wanna know " She half-whispered . Enough for me to hear . Suddenly , i had the urge to run . But i know even if i did , itll be useless to call for help .
She continued walking and i followed her silently .
Wanting that we wont have the akward moments . As time past , We finally stopped infront of a pale white door . I looked back at where we were walking and saw that i coundnt see where we came from . She pulled out a key and stabbed it at the door handle . She twisted it as the door Creeks open reveiling a huge living space . its kinda like a hotel to be honest . It looks huge compared to the looks on the hallway . My eyes wonder off to the room and it looks so classic .
There was a white wall and the other side of the wall is a mesmerizing color of silver .The walls go with the clean furnitures . This is honestly larger to than the rooms at blue moon pack . While we stepped in , there was this welcoming feeling that emurged inside of the room .I feel like this place is fit to be living space .
" So , this is my place . Uhh , its small compare to the other rooms cause im the weakest in the pack . Who knows , if you get lucky enough , you might be one of the members aswell . " She says politely while i still take in the foreign environment . My eyes went off to the pictures at the wall . One was a group of woles , which i think was their pack .
" Yeah , Though it might take longer for me to feel normal in this place . There are so much to take in . People staring at you like youve done something wrong ? Ugh, thats annoying . " I say while i proccess what i just said . I never glanced at her cause im too distracted by the beauty that came with the pictures on the wall .
One photo , i was extremely curious about . It was a picture of a woman with a curly brown hair just like mine . She looked somewhat like me , it made me more curious of who she is when i saw that we had the same features . She looked like she was 20 or something . I couldnt shake off the feeling that i think i know her . (Picture on the side )
The curiosity took oer me that i asked ashley who she was .
" Ohh ... Uhh , Shes Uhh .. My mom. Thats her when she was 23 . " She replied , but i can see a flash of nervousness in her eyes . And she was stuttering .
thats the first time i saw her nervous this day that i met her My inner wolf whispered .
"Ohh" was all that i can manage to say despite the fact of my curiosity , i began walking to the side , facing the siler wall .
There was this strange feeling that really want too know more about the cliche woman at the picture . Theres just this thing that im connected at the woman . I want to find her and see if my inner concious is right . This is the first time that im so curious about something . She jsut feels like a relative to me . I push my thoughts away and turned around to find no one . No ashley . I was alone.
