Irony

Its been two months since the 'little' incident . Since then , i never saw Gale . I knew by then that he was busy . I couldnt blame him , i was busy myself with all the schoolwork . Although evrybody kept stopping what they were doing as they would stare at me .

I mentally Trained myself to control my abilities . I was in my room , playing with a fireball between my fingers. Believe me , it was hard . One time , i burnt a tree .

A sudden knock was suddenly heard as the fireball dissapear in mid air . I stood up to get it . To my surprise , it was jake and saphire . (If you dont remember , jake is the brother of Gale ) I met saphire a few weeks back . She and her twin are the siblings of Gale and jacob . They were holding a plastic that was covering something .

"Hey Guy-"

"Theres a party tonight and Gale wants you to go and be his escort instead of me . " Saphire says a little bit too quickly . Her face plastered with annoyance as always . She's been bitter to me ever since his brother introduced me as his mate .

"Saphire" Jake warned . she lets out a frustraited sigh and rolls her eyes .

"Me and Gale have spoken lately , and he was a little bit tragic that he hasnt had time for you in a long time . He was suppose to have a meeting tonight with all the head trainers , but instead he set up a grand ball for you . " He explained . Ofcourse i was happy that Gale finally decided to see me again .

"And he wants you to wear this ." He stated as he hands me the heavy material .

"Okay , thanks ?"

"I'll pick you up later , "

THey then turned around and as i closed the door . I layed the material at the bed while i zip the cover open . It was stunning. the upper part was filled with little crystals all the way to the middle . and at the bottom , it was the color of night . It was beautiful for sure .

I hanged it carefully and checked the time . It was already 6 . I rushed myself inorder to look good for him

GALE'S P.O.V.

Its been an Hour or two since i sent jake to go and tell fae about the ball tonight . I had hated myself for not seeing fae atleast a day . But alpha duties . I was fixing my tux for tonight . My sister and jake were in my room too , getting ready .

I was a little bit frustrated because some of my gaurds were poisoned and i couldnt find anyone to heal them .

It was almost 7 and i was done with my hair .

"I'll go get Faye . " i stated

" I told her that i was going to get her . Go on to the ball room . Well be there in a minute . " Jake suddenlly said . I took it as a time to go to the Venue

FAE'S P.O.V.

"Are you done yet ? " I whine for the hundreth time this night . Olive was curently doing my hair and make up and i was sure as hell that it took her a long time . Truth be told, i know nothing about make up . The only thing that i hate about what oliive did is that she almost made my eyebrow bleed .

"Okay i'm done ."

Finally .

She turned the chair around for me to see what i look .

My eyes widden as i saw this girl infront of me . I had my hair in a ballerina bun . My eyes had silver and black eyeshadows making my eyes pop . My eyebrows were in a neat form . For what seems to be another woman infront of me . Another me that i never saww in my 19 Years of experience .

"Your so beautiful ... "

"even more beautiful than her " Olive suddenly whispered. My eyes darts toward her

"Who's her ?"

"Oh , uh shes hi-"

The door was suddenly opened revealing Jake in his tux . A smile creeped on my face as he analyzed the room . His eyes met mine as he plastered a smirk .

"You look Great " He complimented . I stood up as i walked towards him .

"Thanks to Your mate " I added . Olive walked up and wrapped his arms around jakes waist as jake cuddled with her . I rolled my eyes playfully .

"Lets just go okay ." I recomended .

*At the Venue *

"Stay here " Jake ordered . For once , i obeyed . I was curently in a white little living room, sitting on a pure sofa . 

After a few moments , the door busted open . Rebveiling My love. A smile suddenly made its way to my lips as i stood up and literally jumped to hug him . I wasnt surprised as he returned the tight hug, spinning me around . The room was filled with laughter . 

"I missed you so much " I shrieked . The joy i was feeling was extra ordinary . He set me to my foot as he pecked my forehead .

"You dont even know how much i missed you " He held both of my hand kissing the right one ever so gently which me me smile even harder . 

"Lets sit down for a while " He insisted . I sat down next to him at the sofa 

"I honestly cant believe that you canceled a meeting for this " I say shaking my head 

"I'd do anything for you " 

"I've been meaning to tell you that i can contol the elements " 

"Fae, the last thing i wanna know is all about this element crap , i dont wanna remind mysel with te thing that i did to you . " He stated looking down . I held his chin and tilted it upwards . 

 The party started about an hour late . 

It was a night to remember . The music was enchanted , the light was shining through the room . People laughing and dancing . It was my first ball . 

The way gale danced me at the middle of the room while every pair of eyes are on us , i didnt care . For the first time , i dint care . Hours of joy completed my day . 

A smile would always creep on my face each time someone would treat me ever so highly. My skin would tingle every time gale would hold my hand . My feet were tired but the joy paid it all . 

When i would talk to someone else , it would be so happy . Cant it always be like this ? Everlasting happiness 

And every time , i would sneak a peek on gale , his pearly white teeth would come to vission . My gown would sparkle witth the light shinning on it .  

I was currently talking to gale . For the sake of the pack .

Everything turned out well this evening . But then , the door suddenly barged open , reveiling one gaurd with blood covering his face .

"Alpha, Were being attacked by The Elementals  " He stated firmly which made my heart beat faster .
