You're Cisco's childhood friend, Y/N. You were born in Central City and lived there until the age of 10. That's when your family moved to Starling City.
In much need of a change of environment, you decide to visit Cisco. For a vacation, kinda! But...
As you walk through the corridors of STAR Labs, you can hear Cisco and Harry argue over the length of the tree decoration. You shake your head with a smile.

"It's terrible?"
"It's terrible."
"I'll tell you what's terrible..."
You enter the cortex and ring a large set of Christmas bells to get their attention.
"Looks like you need an artistic touch!" you insist. "Sometimes that really outdoes extensive research."
You smile teasingly at both of them and they nod, acceptingly. You put down several boxes with colorful ornaments.
"I thought we were getting a real tree?" you frown.
"It is real." Harry assures in a plain voice.
"I like your Santa-pants, Y/n." Caitlin points out, coming out of the lab. That's right! You almost forgot you're wearing wide, red Santa pants with white fluff at the ends.
"Cheers, Cait! Like the hairband."
"Cisco, where's Gypsy?" she asks.
"She had to work the holiday shift."
"Bummer." you react and start adjusting the tinsel. Cisco and Harry are happy to let you.
"But I think I got her the perfect gift!"
Some kind of knife forged in the blood fires of Mordor... No, sorry, Earth-22! That's not really what's on your list, but Gypsy is pretty hardcore.
"Of course, she should have sent something for me by now..."
You and Harry share a look.
"Awkward." you say in chorus.
"Yikes." another familiar voice joins in. "Did, uh, Rudolph just diarrhea all over your tree?"
You give away a laugh as you peek out behind the back of it.
"Ho, ho! That was a good one!"
Ralph grins at you. He's also wearing a red hat. Cisco turns around with a grim face.
"Hey, whose side are you on, Y/n?"
You prolong your answer. "Um, Santa's?"
Ralph approaches the three of you, hands in his pockets.
"Don't get me wrong, Ralphie loves Christmas. I ring in every holiday season with my nana. She never remembers me, but I am getting that inheritance."
"You are just... incorrect." Cisco states.
You shrug as you keep on adding shiny balls to the blue tree.
