Jhoana

It's a new day, fresh from vacation and relaxation. No bad vibes muna please. I am on my way to my car papuntang office. Tuesday ngayon sana di masyadong traffic, pero don't expect alam naman nating masasaktan lang tayo sa katotohanan na hindi na ata mawawala ang traffic sa Metro Manila.

Bubuksan ko pa lang sana ang kotse ko nang may tumigil sa harap ko. "Hop in! Para libre ka na sa gas.."

"Uy Thirdy! Ikaw pala yan!" Jhoana

"Long time no see jhowjhow! Tara sakay ka na, sabay na tayong pumunta sa office." Thirdy

"Office? What do you mean?" Jhoana

"I'll be working with you Ms. Maraguinot." Thirdy

"Huh? Bakit?" Jhoana

"You'll know kapag nakadating na tayo sa office, kaya sakay ka na bago pa tayo malate." Thirdy

I hop in his car kasi ayoko naman talaga malate. Nilock ko na lang uli yung car ko kasi wala naman akong choice. Hindi rin naman titigil tong si Thirdy kapipilit sakin na sumakay.

After fifteen minutes drive nakadating na din kami sa office, sobrang lapit lang talaga ng condo ko sa office.

While waiting for the elevator... "Jho, kumusta ka naman?" Thirdy

"I'm fine Thirds, ikaw ba?" Jhoana

"I'm good, looking forward to work with you actually." Thirdy

"Actually di ko alam kung ano yang sinasabi mo but I'll go with it. Baka hindi pa lang ako nabribrief." Jhoana

"Kacloclose lang kasi ng deal nung Friday. Apparently you're on leave yesterday kaya ngayon lang tayo nagmeet." Thirdy

"Talaga ba? Hahahahha I'm sorry nagkaroon kasi ng reunion ang ALE, you know wouldn't miss it for the world.." Jhoana

"I heard nga from Jules..." Thirdy

"Going strong eh?" Jhoana

"Naman, swerte ko na don eh papakawalan ko pa ba? Hahaha" Thirdy

"Anyway nandito na tayo." Jhoana

Pumasok kami sa office, Cerebrum Design.

"Mr. Thirdy right on time also Ms. Jhoana sorry late notice about sa meeting na to. I guess you know each other naman diba? Jhoana, meet us in fifteen minutes sa conference room." Mr. Kudo, well he's the CEO of the company at ako naman Account Executive and Head Architect.

"Okay sir., I'll see you later Mr. Ravena." Jhoana

I smiled at him at dumiretso na sa office ko. Sinalubong naman ako ng secretary ko na si Rose

"Hi Ma'am sorry di ko na nasabi sa inyo kasi sabi niyo ayaw niyong maistorbo sa vacation niyo but let me fill in. Nung Friday po naclose ni Mr. Kudo yung big client na matagal nating hinihintay yung Lion x Machina or LXM as known in the industry. Well si Mr. Ravena ang pinakakatiwala nang may ari ng LXM and umagree naman sila sa proposal ni Mr. Kudo, We're gonna make a new resort in Quezon province. Kaya meron po kayong meeting with them." Rose

"Thank you Rose. I'll be there na, paki-ready na lang ako ng breakfast okay? The usual, thank you." Jhoana

Pumunta na ako sa conference room and nandoon na sila.

"Hello Ms. Jhoana, let's proceed with the meeting." Mr. Kudo

"Hi I'm Thirdy Ravena from Lion X Machina Company and I'm here today as representative of my boss. She's currently in vacation pa and ako na muna ang pinameet niya sa inyo but she'll be going here as soon as she finish with her vacation. According to our source kayo ang pinakamagaling in terms of architectural building. Sabi din sa Forbes kaya ito ang napili ng boss ko. She wants to build a resort at Quezon in which this is her terms and needs for the said resort and she wants to finish it in Six Months." Thirdy
