Chapter Twenty

Three years has passed after Bea's death. A lot of things changed. From the team to Jhoana.

The team didn't win the crown back to Katipunan on season 80. Jhoana didn't not use her last playing year because she can't play anymore inside the UAAP Courts. Cause there's a lot of memories that are flashing back to her making her depressed.

Season 81, the crown is back in Katipunan, Jho's playing the pro-league and her sister Jaja is Ateneo's setter. While the team captain is Maddie. It's their last playing so they really deserve that exit.

Season 82, Kat is the only senior left and the team captain. With a lot of new recruits from Coach O.

A lot of things changed but now, Jho's a lot better than before. She's working under an advertising agency as a junior art director at Mccan world group. Sometimes she play on the pro-league but sometimes not due to job orders and overtime.

Tinututok niya ang sarili niya sa work. Laging OT and pumapasok kahit sabado. This is her coping mechanism now. Keeping herself busy para hindi niya maalala si Bea. Kasi everytime na maalala niya si Bea, naiiyak siya at nalulungkot siya for ilang days making her not a productive one.

As time goes by, Christmas is near.

Deanna POV

I am waiting for Jema na matapos practice niya and we will go sa bahay ni Ate Kat kasi it's Nachos and Tacos Thursday. Yes after three long years.. kami na ni Jema. Unbelievable right? Still surreal parin ang nangyari na ang taong dating pinapangarap at nastaredown ko eh girlfriend ko na.

*phone rings

Ate Jia calling,

I pick up the phone...📲

"Hey ate Jia!" Deanna

"Hey Deanns! Asan na kayo ni Jema? Dumadating na ibang ALE dito." Jia

"Iniitay ko lang siya nagshoshower then we'll go there na. Surri" Deanna

"It's okay, have you talked to Ate Jho mo? Kung pupunta ba siya?" Jia

"Sabi niya sakin, oo daw but confirm ko pa rin, tawagan ko siya after." Deanna

"Okay call her already, and ingat sa pagdrive." Jia

After the call dumating na din yung pinakamagandang babae sa paningin ko.

"Hi bb, sorry nag-intay ka ng medyo matagal." Jema

"No it's okay, willing to wait naman lagi mamser." Deanna

"Stop with the pouting! I might kiss you." Jema

"Pano ba ganto ba? Gantong pout ba? Hahahaha" Deanna

"Stop it Deanns!" Jema sabay nakaw ng halik sakin.

"Ay grabe sobrang ninja, parang ikaw pa yung anak ni dada Bei eh, di naman ako ganyan pinalaki ni Mommy Jhow." Deanna

"ay wow ang arte ng bebe ha! Let's go na naghihintay na ata sila don." Jema

"Ah yes yes but bb can you call mommy jhow and ask her kung papunta na siya." Deanna

She dialed her phone.

"Hi Ate Jho! Asan ka na daw? Otw ka na ba kana Ate Kat?" Jema

"Isa isang tanong lang Jema hahaha! May tinatapos na lang ako na paper and then I'll go there na. Don't worry di ako talkshit today." Jho
