The rain

•3rd person P.O.V•

Deku took a step outside, the rain was no longer a background noise, but a loud reminder of why he couldn't go out to look for his friend.

Of why nobody could go out to look for him.

He started his walk to his favorite open 24/7 cafe in the city. His shoes were already wet and he had only been outside for around 20 minutes, but the winds had picked up, causing some rain the splatter against him anyway.

He put on earphones and started to listen to his favorite singers, Billie, Cavetown, Alec, Blackbear Ect. He closed his eyes, taking another few steps forward. What happened??

He took another step

When did it happen

And another

What do they want with him???

He opened his eyes and checked the time. ...1:43 am... that's a lot earlier than I was hoping...

He looked around and saw he was finally in the city, the rain hitting the ground like bullets. A gust of wind flew up and his umbrella flew away, he tried to catch it, but it flew over a fence onto someone's private property.

He sighed, now soaked, and pulled his hoodie up. He continued his walk, no longer listening to music. The colors of the neon city lights reflecting in the puddles and road. 1:53 am...

He looked around to see where he was, but something caught his eye. They was strangely familiar, almost as he had seen them before.

The wore a black jacket, their spikey black hair sticking out, little bits of red were here and there, almost as if it were dyed. The stranger had turned around, as it seemed he passed the store he was looking for. That's when it hit him. The blue eyes, the spikey hair, the staples.

This was someone he knew.
He had seen them before.

Dabi

He started a sprint towards the villian, wanting to know what had happened to Shoto, and if he was ok.

Dabi had noticed them though. He started to run, not wanting confrontation.

×Dabi's P.O.V×

I was walking around the more alive part of the city, looking for hair dye. The black had started to fade and I needed more dye. I didn't notice how I passed the shop until I looked at my surroundings. Isn't that the kid that helped save Bakugou???? Shit, he had started to run towards me. I started to run to a quieter and abandoned part of the city, not wanting everyone to see me.

I started to set fire to the floor where I stepped, so he couldn't run after me. This kid... He started to jump into buildings trying to catch up with me.
I heard a crash and paused to look back. He's gone... or...

I take a few steps back into the building he was jumping on's alley. There he was. Broken leg sitting on the ground.

•°Deku's P.O.V°•

Setting the ground on fire wasn't going to stop me from getting him. I started to jump onto buildings, as they hadn't been on fire. Thankfully the fire wouldn't spread though as much because of the rain, so it was set out soon after running past. I move out my leg prepared to jump to the next building when I felt it This is kind of slipper-

I fell, down and down into an alley.. on my leg. How am I supposed to get home on a broken leg???  I heard him stop. The next thing I saw were more blue flames rising, and him.. step into the alley. I started to try and stand only to come to fall down thanks to my shattered leg.

But breaking bones never stopped me from fighting.

I started to use one for all as a shooting style, shooting massive gusts of wind trough my fingers. He was thrown back a few times and I had expected that to be the end of it. I closed my eyes, the pain starting to set in.

I heard the crackle of fire.
"You're coming with me, whether you like it or not." He lunged at me and I rolled over, dodging his attack. I powered up one for all and let It surge through my body. I felt a burning pain on my arm and looked over to see blue fire scattered all over it.

I started to start aiming back, punching him. He was thrown into a wall and fell into the ground, I had started to try and crawl away when suddenly he grabbed my neck, like how Shigaraki had at the mall.

"Don't even think about moving. I will burn your neck through."

I didn't move. I heard another noise from outside the alley way. I stay still,  thinking about how to get out of this situation.

I shut my eyes, thinking. My thoughts are cut off when The hand around my neck disappears and I hear a groan in pain, I turn around to see that Dabi had yet again been thrown away from me, Iida next to me. A portal appears around Dabi and he's gone. "Why are you out here?" I ask him confused.
"I heard you walk out of the room, and decided follow you," What wh- "I had the feeling you would do something stupid like this." Oh "What were you thinking?!? Sneaking out at One in the morning??? Attacking a villain by yourself?!" I look down. "I'm sorry Iida.."

He looked down at my and sighed, "It's fine.. Let's just get back to the dorms. We're going to need to report this to the teachers you know. Recovery girl won't be so happy to be woken up at," He glanced at his watch, "Almost three am." I laughed nervously, "I know..."

Iida put his hand under my shoulder and helped hoist me up. He helped me walk back to the dorms through the city.

•3rd P.O.V•

By the time Izuku and Tenya had made it back to the dorms, it was around 3:43 am. Tiredly, they walked to Recovery Girls office, who was not happy to say the least. She helped Deku out and sent him to his dorm so they could discuss what he did in the morning.

Midoriya opened the door to his room and immediately passed out on his bed.

He woke up in the morning still tired and everyone gone. They had all started their search party for Todoroki around 7:00 am. It was now 9:56. Deku groaned into his pillow and got dressed. He felt bad for not helping search for his friend while he is missing.

He got up and saw a note on the table in the common room, "We will be back by around 6-10 PM if we can't find him. Stay here and get rest, you're probably tired from being an idiot and getting yourself hurt, love, Iida and Ochaco."

He grabbed his bookbag and filled it with water, snacks, and some money just in case. Looking back at the note, he left the dorms.
