You don't know.
You don't know how it felt.
Those days I was left to cry in the dark,
The day that my innocence was taken.
The day no one seemed to care.
You don't know.
You don't know how it feels to be so alone,
like life is moving around you and you are stuck.
Stuck in a hell of someone else's making.
A hell that no matter how hard you try,
you can't escape.
You don't know.
You don't know how it feels for your cries for help
to be drowned under the weight of someone else's ignorance,
fifty feet under water with out an oxygen tank.
You don't know.
You don't know how it feels to be violated,
For your mind and body to become something to fear.
You try and say that you know,
and maybe you would have if you had been there.
But where were you when I was drowning?
