The Lost One (CamVin)

Chapter 4

The car ride to Taco Bell was pretty interesting.

"So, Ervin, do you have a girlfriend?" Jade asked while starting up the car.

"Uh, yeah. Her name is Emmy." I said before going to my photos and showing her a picture of us hugging that Alec took.

I missed them so much.

"Aw, you guys are so adorable!!" She screeched.

I covered one of my ears and give a half smile, "Sorry, I didn-"

My phone started to ring. I looked at the caller ID and it read 'Emmy<3' I smiled wide before answering.

"Hey babe," I started. "Hows it going?"

"Hi hun. We miss you already." She replied sounding down.

"Don't worry, I'll call you everyday, we can FaceTime, Skype, Oovoo, Younow, anything to see your beautiful face again." I assured her.

She started to squealing really loud, but I was use to it, and I knew for a fact that when she squeals, she blushes really hard.

"Can we FaceTime now?" She asked nervously.

"Uh," I pulled the phone away from my ear. "How much longer until w-" I interrupted myself when I saw we didn't leave the house yet.

I looks at Jade to see she was listening closely to my conversation with Emmy. I laughed. "Can we like, move?"

"Oh! Yeah! Oh and you can FaceTime her if you want," Jade replied.

I brought the phone back up to my ear when we started moving and answered Emmy.

"Yeah, we can." I told her. She squealed and replied with an 'I love you' and hung up only to 2 minutes later call me on FaceTime.

"Quick, how do I look?!" I asked Jade in a panic voice.

"Ervin, you look fine! Answer the phone!" She screeched.

I did what I was told and answered the phone. When I did, my stomach got insane butterflies and I started to smile.

"ERVIN!!!" Emmy yelled happily.

"BABY!!!" I playfully yelled mocking her.

She rolled her eyes and smiled.

"Is that Ervy?!" I heard Alec yell in the background.

"Sup, Alec?" I said.

All of a sudden, I heard someone running up the stairs and instantly recognized it to be Alec when I saw hair.

"Ervy!!" Alec yelled taking the phone away from Emmy.

"Sigh, We miss you so much Ervin." The first thing he said.

"I miss you guys, too. How is it without me?" Asking them.

"Lonely," Em said. "Yes, and boring." Alec finished.

"This sucks balls." I told them.

"Ye-Oh! Who's your friend?!" Alec said talking about Jade.

"Oh, this is Jade," I said pointing the camera at her driving.

"She's my new neighbor," I told them, mostly Emmy because of the way she was looking at Jade.

"3 Minutes Ervin." Jade told me. I told her to remind me how many minutes we had to get to our destination.

I nodded.

"Alec, give the phone to Emmy and leave the room for a second." I demanded nicely.

"Okay, text me later, dude!" He insured more than said.

I nodded again.

"We're here," Jade told me "I'll just give you guys a second."

I smiled softly at here and waited for her to leave.

Once she was gone, I looked back at the camera.

"I miss you so much, babe." I said.

Then, she just broke down crying. She was holding it all in, I could tell.

"Oh no, no, no, please don't cry. I hate seeing you like this." I told her. I hated seeing her sad. I would do anything in my power to make her happy and now I can't do that anymore.

"I'm sorry," She said sobbing quietly. "I couldn't hold it in anymore. It's eating me alive. We've never been apart and I can't take it. I miss you holding me and telling me how beautiful I am. What will we do if this distance thing doesn't work out? I can't loose you Ervin, I love you too much."

I just belong shocked. She's never felt this way, but then again we've never been apart.

"Hey, hey shh. It'll work, I promise. I'll make it work. You guys are still on spring break maybe you can come visit before you go back to school. I'll visit on breaks, maybe even weekends if you want, but this will work. I don't wanna loose you either." I said expressing how I felt.

She put her phone down and started whipping her tears away.

"Yeah, you're right. I'm being stupid." She thought.

"No, not stupid, just paranoid," I said.

She sniffed, "You should go eat now."

"Oh right. I'll call you later, okay?"

She smiled, "Okay. I love you Ervin."

"I love you, Emmy," I told her honestly.

She blew a kiss to the camera and ended the FaceTime.

I sighed. How is this gonna work?
