-Erens P.O.V-

"I heard she was kicked out cause she threatened the system," one girl said.
"I heard she tried to prove herself and went over the walls, and we all know where that gets you," Another gossed.
"I heard she abandoned us, too cowardly to face the titans," whispered another. I wanted to turn around and bite their heads off, but I knew it would just make the situation more tense.

Nobody knew where she went and what happened to her, but (Y/n) disappeared a couple of weeks ago after Sargent Keith pulled her into his office. They couldn't have kicked her out, they'd be stupid to, she was the most skilled person a everything here. They'd be wasting a real shot at saving this cursed race.
"What could have actually happened to her? They wouldn't have kicked her out they know how skilled she is as a soldier, and she couldn't have just vanished into thin air," I complained to Armin and Mikasa.

"I dont know but they wont tell us anything, I asked earlier and they immediately just shut me down. But I know she's okay, Its (Y/n) for gods sake if anyone could take care of herself she definitely can. Armin Reassured me.
"Yeah, it just bothers me that she just took off, Was It because of me?" I whispered the last part. It probably was my fault, she told me to back off and I never did. I kept pushing her to open up to me and others. I should have just backed off when she told me to but I was an idiot once again and didn't listen to her. I should take more thought in what I do to others and how what I did could affect them. It was my fault she's gone. I should have stayed away like she wanted, Why dont I ever Listen?

-(Y/n)s P.O.V-

We had set out to HQ shortly after ii had agreed to join the scouts, we headed out on horse back. It was Levi, Erwin and I until Erwin had to split and attend to some other business else where, so it was just me and Levi.
"So, not at all hindered by the fact that you left all your friends just to join the scouts?" Levi asked coldly as we walked the horses to the stables at HQ.
"I dont do friends," I said in a stoic tone, "Not anymore,"
"Oh? So we've got another lone wolf on our hands? Well you're going to have to at least trust your new Comrades that are willing to put there life on the line to help you out. I wont stand for you causing any Casualties-" he said before I quickly cut him off.

"I'd be foolish not to trust the best squad in the scouts, but dont expect me to get all buddy buddy with anyone. I'm not planning on opening my mouth unless I absolutely have to," I snapped not caring who I was talking to, I'll snap at anyone. I never show emotion in my voice, or on my face either. I snap at people easily or just sound cold whenever I talk. It's been a while since I shown any sense of compassion.

"I don't care if you speak or not , as long as you take your orders as they come. You were at Shigansina at the time I know. I'm guessing you lost a lot of important people like your family, old friends. I know how you feel, I lost my family years ago and went rogue. It's painful I know, feels like the world is crumbling from beneath your feet. I did exactly what you are doing now, tried to distance myself from others and not get too attached. Trust me when I say It doesn't work and your just causing yourself utter agony. Stick with me and my squad while your here. We may not be able to do much but you can always count on one of us to be there no matter what," Levi said abandoning his former cold stoic tone and sounded more Caring.

My hands were evidently shaking as a tear slipped down my cheek.
"thank you sir," I sad my voice shaky as I was trying to hold back my emotions.
"(y/n) you dont have to hold it in around me, and you dont have to call me Sir unless were around others okay? just call me Levi when we're talking one on one," he said softly and gave me a quick smile.
"Thank you Levi," You said as both of you walked into Head quarters where you were given your new uniform and Levi introduced you to your new  comrades.

A few weeks had gone by since I joined the scouts, I was out training when suddenly Levi appeared.
"throw the dagger any harder and you'll slice through time itself," he said while lent against the wall.
"What do you want Levi?" I said as I went to retrieve the daggers I had just thrown.
"Seems your friends are graduating today, You dont want to go congratulate them?" He said stiffly.
"I Told you I dont do friends," I snapped. I wasn't in the mood for Levi's bullshit today. Since I had joined the scouts we actually became quite acquainted with each other, me only really speaking freely around him.

"You may not think that but it seems a couple of cadets have been kicking up a fuss about you, demanding to see you and what not," He said. My head shot up in disbelief, it was probably Eren, why cant he just forget about me!? I gritted my teeth after remembering all of what he had done and how he wouldn't just back off when I told him to. "The rookies choose their regiment in about a week, did you know anyone who had wanted to join the scouts?" Levi Asked as he walked over to you.
"Yeah there was a few alright, Not many though" I said grimly.

"Captain Levi Sir!" a soldier from the garrison Regiment shouted urgently while racing in on their horse. They fell to their knees in exhaustion. Levi and I went over to see what all the fuss was about, they were wheezing trying to catch their breath.
"Well spit it out, whats going on," Levi asked coldly.
"Wall Rose has been Breached!" Both Levi and I were In shock
"When?! What District?!" Levi  said urgently as I called for the rest of our squad.
"A Few hours ago! In Trost Sir!" Trost? No wonder we're only hearing about it now, It'll take us two hours at least to get to Trost.

"We leave Now, Grab your gear and a horse, we dont have time to wait for Erwin's orders. Eld You stay here and inform Erwin of the situation, The rest of you are with me. Now lets move!" Levi ordered as he hopped on his horse.
"Sir yes Sir!" The whole Levi squad cried in unison, and with that we set our sights on Trost.

When we eventually arrived in Trost it was utter chaos, there were hundreds of titans on the inner corner, soldiers running around on the ground, And- 'What?' A Titan pushing a boulder into the breach in the wall as if sealing the breach. 'What the hell is going on!?' you thought to yourself.
"Petra, Oluo, Gunther, You start dealing with the titans in the inner corner, fall back if and wait for back up if needs be, I want no casualties. (Y/n) your with me, take down the titans around the gate, kill any on your way" Levi Shouts and we all spring into action

Out of the corner of my eye I saw a familiar face on the ground next to the corpse of the 15 meter titan. Mikasa was with him. 'Shit why do the cadets have to be here?!' this made my situation more complicated, I caught up with Levi to ask a favour of him.
"Captain, I know it may sound stuid to you but I have my reasons okay, as long as were around the cadets please dont call me by my name. Call me Brat, Red ears, Greenhorn, whatever just not my name, they cant know what happened to me" I pleaded as we zipped towards the gate.

"What? (Y/n) now really isn't the time to be thinking about shit like-" he said before I quickly cut him off.
"Levi Please! If there was ever a time for me to count on you now wold be it, they cant know I joined the scouts! Just help me out here, If Eren, Mikasa and Armin were to find out they'll join the scouts because of me, that can't happen!" I shouted, I just needed one thing, then he can do whatever he wants, I just need this one thing.
"All right Brat Get a Move on," Levi said and flashed a very quick smile at me. I whispered a quick thank yu to myself before pulling my hood further onto my face as we raced to cut down the two titans heading for Mikasa, Eren and Armin.

'When the hell did Eren get there?' Stop thinking about that and get to taking down those titans!
"You get the one on the left, I'll take the one on the right," Levi Said earning a nod in response from me. In a quick flash both titans were decaying on the ground me and Levi Standing atop there heads. "Listen up kiddos, this is the part where you explain to me exactly what it is I'm looking at," Levi said To the cadets below us while staring up at the giant 15 meter titan corpse in front of us.
