-sniff- my queen! She walked into class and my classmates did what they were supposed to do kneeled before her she looked so maje- "Go back to your seat!"

My classmates were once again being rude to me it appears that was once again one of my illusions. I have these from time to time. The sea herself Umi just sighed at me before going on about som- "Festival with me."

"I'IL GO!" "Oh thank you R/N Honoka will appreciate the help see her after school, h-huh

So apparently what she was saying was that Honoka, that girl that scares me with how energetic she is. Needs help making bread and my queen was reading a poster she made.

The thing is..I DON'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE BREAD! But I wasn't going to. disappoint my queen.

After school, I assumed she went to the baking room but the energizer bunny wasn't there. Ok, that's fine wi- no my sweet Umi.

" No R/N how could you do this to me waaa" "I IM SORRY QUEEN I LE-

-Giggle- h-huh someone saw me, why why did someone see me please just tell me this is on- AHH!

HAHA, t-that laugh! I turn around and see her the energizer laughing at me. " Wow, I didn't know you liked Umi that mu-

'"Stay away from me you crazy energizer bunny. I will help you but  don't talk to me, now where are we going?"

She didn't respond to my question... "You can talk now"  "my house the baking room doesn't have the right equipment for us."

"You can stop now" 

what does she mean by right equipment, it's just bread it can't be tha- WHY IS THIS SO HARD!

we are currently working like dogs making this bread I didn't think it was this difficult we have been here for two hours and we haven't made much progress... ok I'll be honest I haven't made much progress.

But..she has helped me out a lot she wasn't mad at me at all and politely told me what I was doing wrong. Honoka...was also prettier than I thought she was not prettier than Umi but up there.

"Hey R/N I've been meaning to ask why do you avoid me?"  "Well  it's because of your personality your too hyper at times for me and well it's hard to deal with I guess but I'm not gonna tell you to change because that's not right."

-Giggle- "Thank you for your honesty if it helps as you can see I'm a lot calmer at home and your not the  1st person to say that I used to get that in kindergarten but  Umi oh I'm sorry queen.  -giggle- 

-sigh- "Continue Honoka" "Well Umi and Kotori stopped that from happening and told me to just be me so that's what I did and I'm a lot happier for that there's also a reason for it."

"Because it's to cheer people up so that no one walks around school with a sad look on their face I want everyone to be happy you included even if that involves not seeing me." 

she smiled at me,.. this was different however it's a way more beautiful smile then I expected, it made me blush a bit. "I-i have to go!"

---------------------------------------------------Day of the festival----------------------------------------------

The festival went by great, me and Honoka made the most money for it and afterward, she gave me an elbow no not to my face and winked at me. As I see Umi is standing there by herself. 

-inhales/exhales- I walk up to Umi, "E-excuse me Umi w-would you like to um go out sometime?"

my heart is pounding with every breath and I barely manage to get the words out,  Umi would then grab my hand and take me far away from them. "I-im sorry I'm not interested in a relationship right now I'm sorry." she would then give me a hug, I return it.

...

..

i..feel fine for some reason, not upset not even heartbroken I feel fine.  Huh? what's wrong with me why do I feel nothing I have been crushing over Umi over a year and she pretty much tells me in the nicest way possible it isn't gonna happen and I feel fine. 

We then come back and I see Honoka looking at the floor sad, something tells me Umi told her already and she was hoping for a different result. I walk up to her and smile, she smiles back at me.
