"I'm going to be late!" Jungkook whined as he sat in the backseat of the car which was stuck in traffic with the bustling furry and horns of other cars and people trying to go somewhere as well.

He could hear people screaming blatant profanity with no filter through his closed car window, indicating that no one has been really moving along for awhile.

"Well if you haven't noticed son, this traffic hasn't been going anywhere," his father said with a bored expression.

Jungkook sighed in frustration as his legs started to shake in agitation. He had a very important taekwondo match today in Seoul and wasn't expecting the trip from Busan to Seoul to be taking horrendously longer than it should be.

"Ughh! How much time do I have left?" He asked.

"Well, you have approximately 87,648 hours until your graduation, 140,256 hours until you get your diploma from law school in the United States, and 175,320 hours until you marry a nice and just as equally successful young woman, preferably a doctor." His mother replied.

"I meant for the tournament!" He shouted, releasing some of his frustration.

"Oh." She said as she glanced down at her watch. "About fifteen minutes." She said casually.

"What?!" He shouted, now almost outraged. "How am I supposed to make it on time now?"

"Well we're only thirty more minutes away so I suggest it be faster if you start running, son." His father spoke still not showing any emotion.

Jungkook stared at him with one eyebrow raised, trying to decipher if he was being serious or not.

"Well are you going to get moving or not?" His mother answered. "We don't accept failures in this household."

With that being said, Jungkook let out a sigh and opened his car door, in the middle of traffic, to start running to his destination.

Just as he was about to jump over the fence, his mother shouted. "Wait! I forgot to say one more thing."

He smiled softly. "I know. I know. I love you too." He said.

"Actually, I was going to say that second place is first loser so don't come back without first." She then let out a small cough to clear her throat. "But yeah, that too." She smiled.

Jungkook rolled his eyes a little, not surprised, but slightly disappointed as he jumped over and started running like his life depended on it.

Maybe, because he knew that it really did.
