Almost two years have passed by since that day and although it took a long time, Jungkook and his mother finally had a chance to bond and regain their lost relationship.
It was the happiest Sunhee has ever seen him as he finally got to have the relationship with his mother that he always dreamed of.
More time passed as the family got bigger and more closer. Life was great as they felt like they were finally living in paradise. Not in terms of wealth, but in terms of love.
Every small problem they were able to get through together. Every precious moment was savored as time flew by. Nothing could ever tear apart the beauty they created out of life together.
But life wasn't always perfect and predictable.

It was an uneventful for day just a half past noon as Sunhee was watching a movie while Jungkook was out at work. One of the benefits of being an artist working for an advertising company was that much of her time could be spent at the comfort of her home. She would find inspiration here and there to draw and make designs for different companies to showcase.
Never would she thought she could make a living out of her hobby until she found the right encouragement and support from her friends and family, and especially Jungkook.
She stood up from the couch she was sitting on to get herself a glass of water. She felt a little dizzy as she stood up, but blamed it on the fact she was sitting in the same spot all day.
She heard the door open which slightly startled her as she turned around to check who it was.
"Oh hey. You're home early? Everything all right in the studio." She asked Jungkook as he put his coat away and put his suitcase down and made his way over to her.
"Everything's fine. The artists were all done recording for the day, so I got a chance to leave early." He wrapped his arms around her from behind as he trapped her in a back hug. "So what are you up to?"
"Nothing. Just getting a drink of water." She answers. He smiles as he let go of her and went to go sit down.
"Well let's have lunch then since we're here together."
"Okay. I'll go call–" she stops as she suddenly holds her head feeling tired and numb for a moment.
"Sunhee?" He asked, his voice laced with worry as he looked at her state. "Are you okay?"
She stood there for a brief moment until suddenly she faints.
"Sunhee? Sunhee!" He screams as he gets up from the table ams kneels down on the floor. He picks up her head to lay down on his lap and starts to gently shake her to get her to wake up, but she wouldn't as she fell totally unconscious.

"Chronic leukemia." The doctor said, which completely stopped his world for a brief moment.
"Chronic leukemia develops slowly so it may take months or even several years before the disease begins to cause symptoms. It's common for the disease to first be detected in normal blood work when a patient goes to the doctor for a regular checkup. However the disease can go undetected over a long period of time if you haven't visited for long, and the abnormal cells can build up and cause an enlarged spleen." The doctor continued.
"So what are you saying? Is she going to be alright?"
"With proper treatment, she might manage just fine, but with the severity of the cancer, I'm not sure how many years she has."
