After about an hour explaining everything to everyone in detail about how exactly I knew about everything that was going on and that I was NOT one of the bad men, and I wasn't working with any of them, all the kids went over to Mike's house after we all had a delicious dinner that ms. Byers had prepared for all of us. Mike has asked El if she wanted to come along, but she said "no, I want to stay here with Jomary, Hop and Joyce" she got up gave him a kiss and told him that she would see him and the rest of group tomorrow. After they left, El and I asked if Joyce needed help with the dishes and she replied and said that it was fine that her and Hopper had it covered, once they walked into the kitchen I look over at El who is sitting on the couch looking nervous. I wheel up to her asking her what was wrong.
Me: El, are you okay, what's wrong?
El (softly): I'm nervous.
Me: why? Because of me?
El: y-yes...
Me: El, I promise I am not going to let anything happen to you, I'm not one of the bad men! I want to keep you safe.
El: promise?
Me: promise!
El: friends don't lie!
Me: I'm your friend?
El: Yes
Me: And you are my friend and I love you so much ! And I know friends don't lie.
El: I love you too.
We give each other a big hug and smile. By that time Joyce and Hopper walk into the living room giving us a big smile I ask them if they believed me and they said yes. I look over at El and ask
Me: El!
El: yes?
Me: Do you want eggos for dessert if Joyce and Hopper say yes and let us?!
El: yes! I love Eggos!
Me: so do I!!
Joyce and Hopper both laugh, and give us a nod yes, and El and I both giggle and made our eggos and ate them.
