the Paladin and the Princess

Chapter One

Long long ago in the kingdom of alicante lived a king known as the scarlet king. The scarlet king was known for war and bloodshed and trying to act like a real man. All the girls in the kingdom loved the king for how he showed his masculinity and show of violence against others. He is the embodiment of masculinity himself and the king knows it. However though he also had a brother who unlike the scarlet king prefers to use magic over fist. The scarlet king likes physical combat while his brother prefers to use magic instead.

His brother the witch master was way more smarter and more fit to rule the kingdom. But then one day the scarlet king overthrow his father and took the throne by beating him in a duel. The witch master was furious as to why the scarlet king his brother would do that. Then the witch master left the kingdom by his own will and told the scarlet king one piece of advice before he left. You will never be happy thinking the way you right now remember that scarlet king. The witch master left shortly after and the last time the scarlet king heard form his brother.

His brother was off and made himself king of a land he named kavengard. A year has passed ad the scarlet king's wife conceived him a son an heir to the throne. Eighteen years have passed and his son become a paladin and he was known throughout the lands. He was known as the red paladin and was the bravest and handsomest paladin of the realm. In kavengard however the witch master wife also conceived a child a baby girl. Her her was as red as a ruby and she was sweet as a rose her father liked ruby and her mother liked rose.

They named the little girl ruby rose and she was the most smartest and fairest of them all. Ruby rose mother died in child birth as ruby rose grew up to be a princess who was now fifteen years of age. The king of alicante was wanting to rule and conquer all of the kingdom in the land and well. It did not take long until the scarlet king wage war on his brother's kingdom. But before he could do that he sent his son the red paladin to go to the kingdom of kavengard. The scarlet king though that if they had a meeting about uniting together the scarlet king would have what he wants.

What the scarlet king what is to be ruler of all the lands and kingdoms to be one true king. But for that to happen the last kingdom kavengard needs to be a part of the scarlet kings area. The scarlet king sent his son on a journey to kavengard with other paladin. The deal was the red paladin would talk to the witch master about uniting kingdoms. If his brother agrees then they would still be family, but if he disagrees then its war. The red paladin sent out to the enchanted forest on his horse along with other paladins escorting him.

They traverses through the enchanted forest and through the icy mountains until reaching foreign lands. The journey took about three days until they have reached kavengard, kingdom of magic and scholars. The red paladin went towards the draw bridge, the red paladin had requested a meeting with the king. The bridge guards were skeptical then that is when the red paladin told them he was form the kingdom alicante. The guards went towards each other and huddle, after a few whisperings. The guard at the tower asked if they were gonna raid the kingdom of kavengard.

The red paladin assured them that no harm would come to there kingdom, if the guards let them in. It didn't take long before the king with master had heard that his brothers son was at his front door. The guard told the red paladin and his men that they may go to the kings throne room. However though if the red paladin and his men had any funny business they would be killed right there and then. The red paladin promises as the guards at the top of the wall lowered the draw bridge. The red paladin and his men on there horses still came inside the kingdom.

The kingdom was filled with commoners but they are not commoners for they are witches. Yes the kingdom of kavengard is home to those wishing to use magic and learn how to wield it. Those who go there practice it to use it for there own selfish reason or for the greater good. The red paladin had reached the castle where they were invited in by the king himself. The red paladin greeted his uncle and the witch master greeted them to sitting on his throne. The witch master got off his throne and asked to what courtesy does he have being visited, by his nephew.
