Maybe Later...
It was last year in summer when it all begun,
It was that face and the smile that had made her run
It made her run away, far far away from the feeling
She tried her best when she knew it was all but a test.
He saw her and was sure that this is her,
She was the one who could be someone.
He found a way to her heart,
Nothing could make them fall apart.
All those movie marathons,
She smiled as she remembered.
She remembered how their hands touched,
She remembered how their fingers brushed.
The day when it'd rained,
He'd planned a game.
He'd taken her to the arcade,
It was where they'd first met.
The boat moved and they sat,
It's how he'd sat,
His arms made her feel protected,
She was sure her cheeks were red and she checked.
The dinner which he'd made,
With a little of the Chef's aide,
Don't really know when he turned,
To make the food burn.
When she smiled the way she did,
To him, she looked like a kid.
Her skin felt smooth against his,
And her hairs smooth but with some frizz.
That day in the park,
When it was getting real dark.
They were in a bliss,
And he stole a kiss.
Her parents met him that day,
She don't know why they would say,
They didn't quiet like him,
She cried alot when the lights went dim.
He laughed when she'd fall,
But when her saw her bawl,
He kissed her nose,
And saw her cheeks turn into a rose.
He met with her friends
It took him no time to befriend.
They got along so well,
And they finally gave him a farewell.
The phone rang in to the dark,
Her voice muffled, as they start.
The moon shone into the room,
He felt her voice boom.
Of the many things they talked,
Of the many walks they walked,
Of the many dates they had,
None of them ever said it.
The four letter word was on their minds,
But the other one always stayed blind,
None of them confessed it to the other,
And then both of them stayed bothered.
He called her that day,
"Meet me now!" he say
She walked to his house
Wearing his favorite skirt and a blouse
She panted as he started,
He didn't know that for her it was like a test.
He stuttered as he uttered,
His heart a in a bunch and a clutter.
She smiled and stood there
As he struggled to put a word to what they shared.
She opened her opened her mouth and said,
"Breath!" and he relaxed.
"I've got to go back baby!" he'd said.
The world spinned and she saw red.
"Why?" she managed to ask.
He mumbled about some incomplete task.
Her world had crashed,
Something in his eyes flashed,
She turned around to block him,
For it looked like he stood there to mock her.
She asked him, "Why me?"
He looked down and said, "'Cause your eyes said try me!"
"I love you!" he cried, making her laugh.
"Maybe later!" she barfed.
The two of them in their own world,
Lived in a room and stayed curled.
Forgive and forget, let him go
Her heart said just go with the flow!
