Today is the day i'm meeting my co-stars for the first time. Well, meet them properly.

I have to do chemistry tests with the fellas i'm gonna be spending a lot of on-screen time with: Jamie Bell and Richard Madden.

I'm pretty excited to see Jamie, i really admire his work and he seems so, so nice. And Richard? I don't really have any idea of what he's like. We've shaken hands before but he's not the most outgoing person i've met. I'm afraid we'll have to get along though, because we play lovers. And well...there's some intimate scenes.

I arrive to the studio a bit early and decide to take a look around. This is where i'm gonna be spending a lot of time: recording the soundtrack.

"Goodmorning!" A polite Scottish fella greets the crew. I don't know why, buy i've always kinda had a thing for Scottish accents.

I turn around and start walking towards him, but he already greets me from a distance with a hesitant wave. Gosh, he really is a good-looking chap.

"Hey Richard!" I immediately go in for a hug, feeling that he's not really comfortable. I let go of him and laugh it off. "Ha, I'm sorry, got carried away there." I reach out for his hand. "Good to see you." He laughs at my clumsy ways. "Good to see you too."

"Ah there you are!" Jamie runs to us. "I see you've already met then."

Richard and i look at each other and burst out laughing. I'm not sure why we're laughing but i can't help it. Seems like we do get along quite well.

Jamie looks at us in confusion. "Well, looks like that chemistry is there!"

Dexter pops his head around the corner. "Jamie and Taron are up first!" I pat Jamie on the shoulder. "Well go on then! Let's actually test some chemistry." Which left Richard behind, patiently waiting for it to be his turn. 

I'm not having many doubts on wether these people are the best co-stars for me, but chemistry tests are always kind of nerve-wrecking. They're paying attention to the smallest things, including just looking good together.

As soon as Jamie and i walked in, it went by pretty smoothly.

While clapping his hands Dexter cheers."Yes, perfect! You two make a perfect pair of best friends. Booked." It's amazing how he's so stoked for this project.

Now it's Richard and i's turn.

We both take our seats and Dexter gives us the same instruction as he gave me when i was in here with Jamie:

"Introduce yourself."

"Right. Well, my name's Taron Egerton, i'm from Wales, i was born in '89. I have two younger sisters who mean the world to me..."

I notice Richard trying to force back a smile. Cute.

"And i love music...and singing."

I look up at Dexter. "That's all i've got."
He lets out a laugh and turns to Richard.

"Alright then! I'm Richard Madden, i'm from a place near Glasgow and was born in 1986." He laughs nervously. "Now i feel kind of old."

I let a giggle slip out.
"Yes Dex, he's way too old! Cancelled! Get him out of here right away!"

Richard let's out a wheeze and slaps my arm. I burst out laughing, his laugh is extremely contagious.

"Alright, alright we get it, you're bff's! But there's got to be another energy there than bff energy...you know."

Richard and i look at each other full well knowing what Dex is talking about.

I look through the script that was given to us.
"Okay do you want us to do the tiny dancer bit? That should be the energy you're looking for."

We receive a thumbs up and turn to each other.

<"It's ehh...always important to rely on the kindness of strangers.">

It's really weird to do such a romantic scene in this setting, but whatever.

<"John Reid.">

<"Elton.">

<"I know all of this seems a bit overwhelming at first but something tells me you'll get used to it.">

As he leans in a bit i can't help but notice his eyes. How do they have such a deep blue color? They look like contact lenses...really beautiful.

<"In fact i predict you can be the best selling artist in America if you desire.">

<"So you like the songs then?"

<"Not quite as much as the singer.">

We finish the scene and flip the page...

"Oh!"

Dexter laughs and claps. "That's for another time lads! Also, whew. You nailed that romantic sexual tension going on. This is perfect!"

Richard and i lock eyes while glundering.

I'm gonna have the perfect co-stars.
