"You didn't!!" Richard looks at the sign and then at me, laughing. Karaoke bar. He shakes his head.
"Oh i'm so not gonna do this."

I sigh sarcastically loud and take his hand. "You so are. C'mon!" I pull him in by his arm and he doesn't try to stop me. I know he secretly likes this.

We are greeted by a lovely lady who asks us about any reservations we may have made. "What brings these two lovebirds here?" Lovebirds?? Richard and i look at each other in confusion only to realize i'm still holding his hand. We both let out a laugh and let go of eachother.

"We would like to reserve a private room for one hour." I don't deny the fact that we're "lovebirds" just to tease Richard who looks extremely embarrassed.
The lady wiggles her eyebrows and Richard pokes my side while looking at me angrily. I blow him a sarcastic kiss and he tries to hold back his smile. Stubborn ass.

We're led to the only room that's free and as she closes the door Richard screams after her: "We're not lovebirds by the way!" I hear the lady giggle behind the closed door and burst out in laughter. "THE- THE LOOK ON YOUR FACE! YOU SHOULD'VE SEEN IT!" Richard's grumpy face turns to a smile that couldn't be forced back. "You little prick!" He pokes my stomach as i try to stop my laughing.

I breathe out deeply and put on a serious face. "Let's get some singing on then!"

Rich sighs. "I can't believe you're making me do this." He gives me a cheeky look and grabs the mic from my hand.

"If you guess what song we're doing first...i'll buy you a drink." Richard grunts. "You weren't gonna pay for this shit?!" I look at him cause i'm not sure if he's serious. But he's smiling and grabbing his wallet. He tosses it over to me. "Here you go darling. Also, i know you by now. We're obviously doing 'Faith' by George Micheal."

I smile at him and return his wallet. "You guessed right. Which means i'm paying."

We order a few drinks, just so we have them in advance.

I press play and at the first beat i turn to Richard dramatically. "Well, i guess it would be nice, if i could touch your body." I reach my hand out to him, pretending to "touch his body". He shakes his head while laughing and talks over the music: "I think you're already drunk, T."

"C'mon Rich! Loosen up a bit yeah?"
He rolls his eyes at me, but starts singing anyways.
"I know, not everybody has got a body like you-ou-ouuu."
I smile widely. "Yeaahh sing it Rich!"

We take turns in singing the lines.
"Ohhmmm, but i gotta think twice, before i give my heart away."
"And i know all the games you play...because i play them toooo."

Six songs and many, many drinks later, Richard and i are dancing together on top of the table.

"Rich...muh-maybe we should...slow down with the drinks."

"Yeah...muh-maybe we should." He mocks my stutter, cause apparently he can handle his alcohol better than i can.

I stumble as i try to get off the table and Richard grabs my hand before i fall off. He giggles. "You're cuter when you're drunk T. Not as pricky."

I gasp dramatically as i collapse into his arms. "Shuhsns-you, you are aaaahlways cute Dicky."

"Dicky?!!" He laughs really loudly.

I boop his nose. "Yes, Dicky!! It's puuuhhrfect!" He scoffs. "Then you need a nickname too. I name you...Duckie."

I look up to him in confusion. Duckie? What does that even mean. "Wuh-where did that come from?"

He raises his shoulders. "Nothing. Just a nickname. Now, let's get you home shall we?"

"Hmhm..." I nod my head as i try to keep my eyes open, until everything slowly fades to black.

"Goodnight Duckie."
