Chapter 2

Bella's pov

It's now January and Edward dumped me in September and I still haven't snapped out of my dumped phase yet and every time I go to sleep I get bad dreams and then my adopted dad Charlie has to come in and wake me up all the time and every time he wakes me up he threatens to send me back to my moms but I always tell him I'm fine and he leaves when I tell him that and so today is the day I'm changing my ways I am now getting washed and once I was washed I got dressed and went downstairs.

When I got downstairs I went into the kitchen and when my dad saw me he was shocked and he said well well finally up and about are you and I said yes dad yes I am and I'm going back to school and dad said ok then you better hurry it starts in 10 minutes and I said oh hell and I ran out the front door and ran to my truck and I got in and I drove out of my drive way and out of the la push reservation and kept driving until I got to school.

By the time I got to the school I was 10 minutes late so I parked my car and I got out of it and I ran into the school to my first class which was history and when I got there I opened the door and when I did the whole class turned to look at me and gasped when they saw me and I just said as I looked to the teacher sorry I'm late sir and he said no problem Miss Clearwater yes he said Clearwater and not Swan the reason being is that my dad changed my surname to his once my mother died last year and once I snapped out of it again the teacher also said good to see you back.

I said as I walked over to my seat it's good to be back sir and I sat down and then the teacher starting teaching the class and it went on for about an hour and then the bell went and the class left and we all headed to gym and once we got there we all went and got changed into our kits and then came back into the hall and wait for the teacher and after about a 5 minute wait the teacher finally arrived and when she did she started the class and it went on for an hour and a half and I actually loved what she talked about but then the bell went again and it was time for lunch so all the classes ended and the students all went to the cafeteria and by the time I got there my friends were already sitting so I walked over to them.

I said hey guys mind if I sit and Eric said no go ahead Bella and so I sat down beside them and as I did Jessica said its good to have you back Bella we've missed you really and I said yeah well I missed you all too and then Mike said hey Bella do you still talk to that friend down on the reservation where you live um what's his name Jacob and I gasped and said shit no I haven't seen him in over 5 months he must be freaking out I have to go round there after school that's if Charlie allows me but why do you want to know Mike and he said well I was kinda hoping that you could ask him to have a look at my motorcycle I'd pay him of course.

I said yeah ok I'll ask when I see him and Mike said thanks Bella and I said as the bell for class rang yeah sure Mike and so as the bell went all the students all started walking to class but when I was walking I looked at my timetable and saw that I had biology and then all of a sudden I got a cold vibe go through my body and I realised I wasn't ready to go to that class yet so I ran out of the school and I got into my truck and I drove until I got back onto the reservation and when I did I drove to the beach and I stopped my car and got out of it and I walked down onto the beach and I took my jacket off of myself and I lied it on the sand and I sat down just relaxing with my eyes closed and enjoying the sun and watching the waves and I was pretty sure I was there for 2 hours at least that was until someone blocked the sun on me so I opened my eyes and I saw 2 of Jacob's friends Paul and Jared standing above me so I sat up.

I said what's the problem and Jared said Bella what are you doing here your dad said you went back to school today and I said yeah and I did until it was time to go to the class I met him in then I had to get out of there and Paul said Bella you dad thought you could handle going back we are going to have to tell him about this you do realise this and I said as I stood up no you can't please he said that if I didn't go back either today or tomorrow he was sending me to the la push high school and I don't want to go there please don't tell him and Jared said we are to we obey him and the other elders on the reservation what they say goes.

Charlie said that if any of us saw you on the reservation before school was out today and tomorrow we had to tell him and then I realised I was going to be in trouble so I said please don't I have friends at my school I'm not leaving them and Paul said sorry Bella now let's get you home and I said as I backed away from them both no I'm going back to school to finish the day he can shout at me when I get home and I ran back to my car and I got into it and I turned the keys to start the car but it wouldn't start and I knew why so I got out of the car and I ran back down to the beach.

I shouted WHAT THE FUCK GUYS MY CAR WHAT DID YOU DO and Paul said as I saw Seth and Leah walk up behind him and Jared sorry Bella orders from Charlie and I said as I walked up to my cousins Seth and Leah please don't he won't let me go back to my school and Leah said you were never meant to go to that school anyway Bella your mom sent you there not your dad.

I said I know but I love it there I don't want to leave and Seth said we know Bella and if uncle Charlie does move you to our school it's to keep you safe and I said what safe from vampires and then I heard Jacob say from behind me yes Bella from vampires they are bad news they can hurt you and I gasped and turned and saw him and I just laughed and ran up to him and hugged him and he hugged me back.

I said I'm so sorry I haven't been up to see you and Jacob said its no problem Bella Charlie told me what's been going on with you and he wants to help you and I said yeah of course he does he wants to send me to another school where I won't even look like I belong I mean come on your all tanned and I'm not even a bit tanned they are going to notice and Jacob just laughed and said as he took my hand it will be fine now let's go and I said fine let's get this over with and then he started walking with me beside him and Paul, Jared, Leah and Seth behind us and we didn't stop walking until we got back to Sam's place the old alpha of the pack.
