On the way there he noticed the change in the wind but being the careless person that he was, he didn't give it much thought. Like a road made out of spaghetti it was curling and twirling around the mountain, crating a maze out of trees. It was no longer sunny, dark clouds featured sky. Dark tall trees made it impossible to see though. And the chiseling sound was all of the sudden heard. The sky roared angrily and soon rain followed close behind.
Wind was so strong that it played with trees like they were made out of twigs.
"Fuck! Fuck I cant see a thing!" Dark clouds that surrounded the forest made it impossible to see thru. Suddenly a tree collapsed right on the road, having no time to stop he tried to turn to the left. A simple move made him lose control and car swirled from left to right. Brakes gave out not having enough time to think car went out off the road.
Hitting branches and trees, car continuously getting deeper and deeper into the woods.
"Aah no!" he screamed. Trying to gain back control but failing miserly.
The sound of shattering glass could be heart thru the woods. It seemed like it will never stop, but it only lasted a couple off seconds. And out of a sudden, bone crushing sound echoed and soon silence followed. Thru the dark woods only pouring rain could be heard. The darkness so thick that it could be cut with a knife.
Rain now slowly stopping, moonlight shone thru the tick trees. Lightening vehicle where sat unconscious man. Blood was marking his side separating him just minutes from death. Breeze carried strong scent of blood attracting the hungry animals.
"Well what do we have here? Thru the woods cut rough, vicious voice. Slowly emerging from behind the trees, could be seen a silhouette of a beast like man. It was nothing human, the beast was skinny with his skin shining a sickening shade of green.
"Looks like I'll have diner tonight" sounded scratchy voice. Approaching the car like it was surrounding his prey. Small wiper could have been heard from the inside. Regaining his conciseness Arthur scanned his surroundings. Groaning he clutched his side where the glass had cut his skin. Not even noticing the man only a couple of feet away from him. He closed his eyes for a second trying to ease the pain.
"Giving up already little lamb?" vicious voice said . Cold sweat broke on his skin, looking to his left he finally noticed the man. Terrified by his appearance Arthur tried distancing himself from the man. "W- ho are you?" Arthur croaked, trying to steady his voice. Man not responding just watching him shrugged, bored. Roughly opening the door, man had enough chit chating. "You know, you humans are just annoying"
Puling Arthur out of the car like he weighed nothing, he trew him on the ground. Chiling painful scream tore the silence crying Arthur collapsed to the ground clutching his stomach.
'Hm pathetic' man smirked. "Humans are soo fragile, I could easily kill you with just one hand. But that wouldn't be fun, would it?" Man said darkly grabing Arthurs short blonde hair. Being unable to defend himself he only wimpered tears clouding his wision 'I am gonna die' he though terrified. "Well you already look like you are dying lets spare you from the pain." Bringing his neck close to his mouth he inhaled intoxicating scant of blood. Just as he was ready to take a bite animalous grourl erupted from the dark. Standing quickly droping artur to the ground he faced the growl. There stood a man with a murderous glare, pissed off that someone interupted his hunting. Man was huge with black hair and he looked so intimidating with a body of a grek god. Chiseled musles and sharp gaze his willow grin eyes silantly observing bleeding human. As he was stepping closer, green goblin could sence that this man is no ordinary. But ignoring his instinct, he lunged at the man. The other didn't even break a sweat, lifting his arm he grabed goblins neck snaping it with ease. Body fell to the ground with a loud thund and sudenly forest became silent. Light shum of the rain could be heard from afar as well as a steady beat of a little humans heart.
He was no saint and he knew that bringing this human with him could bring him just truble. Crouching down on one knee he presed his hand around humans neck. Debating with himself what to do next. 'Do I just kill it?' Squising a bit harder he could fill a steady pumping of the heart. Letting go of the neck he cerfuly took small human in his arms. His body wasnt in good shape, a lot of scraches and blood covered his frail body. He noticed a big oasing wound on humans left tigh. Wich was quickly losing a lot of blood.
'I dont have a lot of time, he'll die if i don't do something'he mumbled to himself. But on the other hand he could just end his life here, its not like somebody would find him. Gazing into humans unconscious face he couldnt bring himself to kill him. Something intrigued him, maybe it was all those years that he spend alone. So he was curious, just by looking at him he felt at ease. Standing up, he gently caried unconsious man to his castle. Hoping to save his life..
