Mingi's POV

Back in Sophomore Year, when the school actually cared for academics

"Hello class, today we're going to learn about the human organ systems. You guys will also be given vocabulary, a writing assignment, directed reading(a sheet of paper with questions from the science book that they are given), and you'll have a mini arts&crafts thing to do, if this isn't finished in class then it's homework." Mrs. Lee announced to the class making me pull off my huge eye smile, which I rarely do. I'm basically the most disrespectful person you'll ever meet but the only thing that makes me happy is getting good grades so I love school and the work that comes with it.

I look over my shoulder to the back of the class to see Hongjoong, he isn't the complete opposite of me personality-wise it's just that he doesn't care for grades. You can say we're 'friends' since we do talk often and have even hung out a few times(him smoking while I look out for him). We are more acquaintances than anything or at least that's what I'd say we are.

Hongjoong's POV

I swear every fucking day this old saggy tit having teacher gets on my nerves, always announcing a new lesson and giving out 4 different homework assignments, that I could really give a fuck about. It's not that I'm stupid, just very lazy and my attitude really annoys my teachers and parents but they can't just expect me to change my mindset so quickly.

Hopefully what people say is going to happen does happen, that being the school only caring about popularity. I don't really care for that either so I'm most likely going to be the worst student as always.
