Jude: a female cocker spaniel, has white colored fur
Luckily, Rosco has never been in a dog fight. Of course every night the drug addicted men come and find Rosco. When he gets home, he's chained up again. Rosco is finding it harder and harder to escape the men, he barely escaped the night he met his soon to be best friend: Jude.
Rosco had always walked for a few minutes around town but people would run away at the sight of him. This always made him feel bad about himself, he just wanted a friend and he hated seeing people so scared. He's a softie, he just wants everyone to be happy.
One day while the sun was setting, he decided to take a different route and explore a different place. He slowly walked behind houses of a new neighborhood. Some houses had privacy fences so he couldn't see anyone to make friends, but he finally found a house with a wire fence that he could see perfectly through. He got a little closer and caught a whiff of another dog, thankfully he could tell it was female. Making friends with other male dogs is hard.
"Uh, may I help you?" a southern sounding accent asked from the distance.
Rosco looked closer and saw a small white colored cocker spaniel. He could tell she was not from around here, hence her accent.
"Oh, hello. I'm Rosco and I was wondering if you would like to be friends." he said, cutting straight to the point.
"Do you not have friends or somethin'?" she asked, this time having a really southern flare.
"Actually...no I don't. Never mind, I'm sorry for bothering you." Rosco apologized, hanging his head down. He felt embarrassed.
"No, wait darlin'. I didn't mean anything by what I said, I'd love to be your friend. If I'm being honest, I don't have any friends either. All I have is my owner, but she's the best. We watch 'The Walking Dead' all the time." the cocker spaniel said as she came out of the shadows, showing her whole body. She had white fur, big brown eyes and a sassy prance. As she walked her fur on her legs would sway.
"What's 'The Walking De-" Rosco was not able to finish, he felt something pick him up around his stomach. He knew who it was, it was Richie (the robber who threw Rosco into the van). Rosco didn't fight much, he knew there was no way of getting loose.
"Oh my God! Uhm, Rosco..do you know this man? Is he your owner?" the small white cocker spaniel said with worry in her voice.
"I guess you could say that." Rosco said "I never caught your name!" he shouted as he was carried off by Richie.
"Well hon, that's because I never threw it, but my name's Jude!" she shouted back.
Rosco could barely hear what her name was, but he caught it. The cocker spaniel's name was Jude. Rosco loved that name, he knew Jude was going to be his best friend.
