Chapter 8: The needle

The whole ride to school was a blur as we got to school pretty fast, I jumped out of the car then Alice and I started to walk to the front of school And in through the hall.

As we walk through the hall, We hear complaining.

"They must be complaining about the needles today" Alice mutters

Gosh, it's not even that bad!

" Well, you don't have to get one!"

Hahaha well that's true!

We walk over to my locker and I check my phone to check my timetable.

We have English again first period I tell Alice

I wait to go over to next lot of lockers are for h t to get her English books and then we start to head to class and everyone is already sitting in their seats so we head to the back of the class, where we sat yesterday.

Hey everyone! We will be having our needles in this class today.

Two ladies come through the door and into the classroom, they are wearing light with light blue t-shirts with long blank pants and their tops a logo with a name on them: Flu prevention Australia.

"We will get into groups and each group will go into the class next door to get their flu needle taken one by one" Mr Neilson said.

" you'll be in group one Alice, with Alex, Zac and Noah.

Alice gets up and moves over to where the rats of her group are sitting at the other side of the class and after a while Mr Neilson calls Group one to go out of the class room to the classroom next door.

Alice walks in with the rest of her group, both the ladies call two names: Alex and Alice.

" what a coincidence"I mutter to myself in my head! Both their names start with a "A" I laugh to myself.

Alice walks over the lady sitting at one of the desks to the far left corner of the empty room she sat down on the chair while the lady was getting ready to stab her with a needle "How exciting!"

I watch from afar seeing how scared Alice looks but I guess she isn't as terrified as Alex on the other side of her.

Alex is on the other side of Alice getting his needle done by the other lady, I kinda feel bad for him. His pale, like really pale and his face doesn't look happy. He sort of looks like his going to pass out.

He lady grabs the needle out of the container and takes off the lid and starts to combine the stuff they need to put in the needle into it and then she gets ready to inject it into Alex's skin but as soon as the lady could do that, Alex fainted.

While Alice is getting her needle she turns right when she sees Alex fall and her face is in shock and then then the lady says "done" and Alice can move her arm.

The lady that was giving Alex the needle, got down off her chair and checked to see if he was breathing, she puts two fingers on him to see if he was and she noticed he was breathing so she called 'Alex' loudly and his eyes started to open and look around.

I guess if he hates blood then he can't be my killer"

" well anyways, why would he kill you cause he got caught cheating off your test, that would be petty"

I guess that's true.
