Chapter 2: "It wasn't just someone!"

I slam my hands on the desk and run out of the classroom with annoyance in my voice, I walk as fast as I can till I almost and I say almost run into someone. "It wasn't just someone ! " , it was Alice.

Alice was a senior like me, she always wore her hair in a ponytail and that never changed even on photo day. She hung out with people but not much people actually, well to be honest we used to be friends in primary school me and her against the world but then as soon as high school hit we fell into different crowds but ever since then we kind of don't really like each other.

By not like each other I mean the feeling is mutual. We each grew apart and fell to dislike, I mean we both should be nice to each other but it's hard when my friends don't like her.

"Aye watch where you are going!" Alice replies
I'll try better next time but you walk too fast so it's mainly your fault, as soon as I say that I get a weird voice in my head.

"Wait she can see me? But other people can't?"
I tell myself in my head that this is some messed up shit but I try to solve this mystery in the amount of 10 seconds.

Just as Alice is about to walk off, I jump out and stop her.

"Um yes?" Alice mutters
"You can see me?"

"Um well yes, I do have eyes"
She looks at with confusion right after that sentence as I'm trying to picture how this looks but questioning why my hangover is this bad.

While I'm standing right next to Alice, someone starts to walk over. I flicker my eyes open and shut to see a better picture of the person and realise who it is, it's Charlie.his Alice's best friend well he became her friend after her and I drifted apart, I must admit she is pretty nice .

She stands right in front of me, almost touching my shoulder with a confused look on her face.
" who are you talking to Alice?"

Alice looks at me with a weird look on her face
And I decide not to say anything.

"Oh nobody" Alice replies
Oh okay, I'll meet you after school,

Alice looks at me with a confused face,
" what just happened" she asked

Well honestly I don't have a clue, first I woke up in the janitors closet and now no one can see me except you!"

Except me? She replied
Yup, everyone's been ignoring me and my eye sight is making me think people are walking right through me.

Well, how much have you drunk? Alice asked
"How much have I drunk?"

Um idk actually I'm pretty sure there was a party last night but I can't remember any of it and now I must be hungover.

Alice and I start to walk through the halls, while I told her how weird how Charlie didn't acknowledge my existence right in front of him.

"Yeh I agree, Charlie is too nice to ignore an asshole like you"

Aye, I'm not that much of an asshole

* Alice just looks at me and then looks away.

I walk with Alice to outside of the school and then at that exact time the bell rings and technically it's the end of the day.

I sit down on the stairs near the front of the school and start to wait for the bus.

"Don't you have a ride?" Alice asked

No my parents are out of town for 5 weeks so I have no uber to and from school.
